We're excited to share that AIMI Visual Media has appointed a new Creative Director, joining the studio this month to lead our brand-campaign and editorial photography practice. With more than fifteen years of experience across advertising agencies in Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Sydney, the appointment represents a significant investment in the kind of work we can offer brands looking for more than standard e-commerce imagery.
For the last several years, our clients have increasingly asked for campaign-grade work alongside their day-to-day e-commerce production — image and video that lives on hero banners, in paid social, and in PR. While our team has delivered consistently on these projects, we wanted dedicated senior creative leadership to push the work further.
Our new Creative Director will own three areas:
Our new hire brings campaign credits across global beauty, fashion, and lifestyle brands, with particular strength in editorial set design and colour-led visual identity systems. Recent agency work includes campaign photography for several Asia-Pacific beauty launches and brand identity work for two Chinese DTC fashion brands now selling internationally.
Alongside the appointment we're introducing a clearer service tier for clients who want full creative ownership: AIMI Campaign. This tier includes pre-production concept development, art-directed set design, model casting, full production, and a senior-led post-production process. It sits alongside our existing e-commerce production service, which continues unchanged for clients who simply need fast, high-quality marketplace photography.
Several campaign projects are already in pre-production under the new creative leadership — including a beauty-tech launch and a swimwear hero campaign for a US brand. Selected work will be added to our case studies after publication.
