For standard e-commerce shots, we typically only need one shoe (usually the right/lateral side) for individual angle shots. However, for paired hero shots, on-foot model images, and lifestyle scenes, we need both. We recommend sending complete pairs whenever possible — it gives us maximum flexibility and ensures we can capture every angle you might need later without a reshoot.

Light scuffs and minor marks are easily handled in post-production retouching — included in all our packages. For heavier wear or discoloration, we clean soles thoroughly before shooting and can digitally restore them to look fresh. If soles are heavily worn or damaged, we'll let you know before shooting and discuss whether the images will meet your standards or if replacement samples are needed.

Yes — levitation photography is one of our signature specialties. We use invisible monofilament suspension, acrylic risers, and precise shadow painting in post to create convincing floating effects. We can add motion elements like powder bursts, water splashes, or speed lines for extra dynamism. These shots are included in our Premium package or available as add-ons for Growth customers.

The approach differs significantly. Sneakers benefit from harder, more directional lighting that creates contrast and energy — emphasizing mesh textures, colorway transitions, and chunky sole units. Leather dress shoes need softer, wraparound lighting to show smooth gradients across polished surfaces without harsh reflections. Sneakers are often shot with creative/dynamic styling, while dress shoes lean toward elegant, minimal compositions. We adjust our entire setup — lighting, angles, styling, and post-processing — based on the shoe category.

For standard e-commerce photography (white background, 4-6 angles per pair), our team handles 50-80 pairs per day depending on complexity. Shoes requiring creative shots, lifestyle setups, or model work typically run at 15-25 pairs daily. For large catalog shoots (200+ SKUs), we can dedicate multiple days with overnight retouching to deliver your full collection within a week.

Yes, we work with foot models and full-body models for on-foot shots. We match model skin tone, foot size, and styling to your target demographic. On-foot shots show fit, proportions, and how the shoe looks with pants/socks in real-world contexts. We shoot standing, walking, and action poses depending on the shoe type — static for formal shoes, dynamic for athletic footwear.

It depends on your brand positioning. For premium/collector shoes, box shots add perceived value and help with authentication. For standard e-commerce, box photos are typically optional but useful for marketplaces that require packaging images. We can shoot the shoe with its box, the box alone, and an unboxing arrangement — just let us know your preference when placing the order.

We follow platform-specific standards: Amazon requires 1600×1600px minimum on pure white; Shopify recommends 2048×2048px square; StockX has specific 12-angle requirements. Our standard angle set (lateral, medial, front 45°, rear, top-down, sole) covers the requirements of all major platforms simultaneously. We size shoes appropriately in-frame (filling 85-95% of the image area) and deliver in multiple crop ratios if needed.
