Occasion wear is bought for one big day, so the frames have to feel like that day. Frame 1 runs the joy: a cropped collarless jacquard jacket over a matching fit-and-flare dress, tone-on-tone baroque embossing catching the light, a rose-gold satchel with 3D appliqued roses at her side, and a wide laugh that sells the celebration. Frame 2 runs the grace: a damask cutwork dress with lace inserts and satin hem band, red flower crown and matching floral flats, the model in near-profile with a quiet smile. The grey sweep backdrop keeps both ivory looks luminous by contrast.

Photography Challenges
1. Ivory on grey needs highlight control. Tone-on-tone jacquard lives in the top two stops. Exposure is set just under clip on the dress front, so the baroque embossing and cutwork lace hold texture instead of blowing to flat white.
2. Formalwear can stiffen a child. The laugh in frame 1 is engineered, not lucky: the satchel gives her hands a job, the photographer runs a joke rhythm, and the shutter catches the open laugh between posed beats.
3. Accessories must match the formality. Flower crown, floral flats and satchel all carry rose motifs; each accessory is chosen from the same embellishment family so the frame reads styled, not assembled.
4. Profile framing must keep dress detail. Frame 2 turns the model for silhouette, but the cutwork inserts sit on the sleeve and skirt; the angle is tuned so both lace zones still face camera enough to read.
Our Approach
The celebration frame.
Frame 1 sets the model in a shifted-weight stance, ankles crossed, satchel at her side; soft even light sweeps the jacquard embossing while her laugh supplies the occasion's emotion.
The grace frame.
Frame 2 places her in near-profile, hands resting on the skirt; the red crown and flats give the ivory field two controlled color points, and the grey backdrop grades cool to keep the whites warm by contrast.
Highlight discipline.
Both frames meter off the dress, not the face; skin sits a stop down from the ivory, and retouch recovers the jacquard pattern in the brightest lanes without touching skin texture.
Accessory continuity.
Rose motifs repeat from satchel to flats across the two looks, so the product family reads as one designed collection on the category page.
"Occasion wear sells the day, not the dress. Get the laugh real and the ivory textured, and the parent imagines the wedding on their own." — Garbo, Director of Photography

Frequently Asked Questions
How is a girls formalwear studio session priced?
Studio childrenswear sessions are billed from $800/day per photography team, with child model agency fees and accessory styling itemized; two-look sets can also price per image under our Growth tier from $35/image.
How do you keep ivory dresses from blowing out?
We meter on the dress front, keep skin a stop down, and recover embossing in retouch, so jacquard and cutwork texture survive at full brightness.
Can you source matching accessories?
Yes. We style crowns, footwear and bags from one embellishment family per look, so the frame reads as a designed collection.
What is the turnaround?
Standard delivery is 5-7 business days from shoot day, including retouching and grade matching.
Who owns the images?
Your brand does, under a full commercial license covering catalog, marketplace, social and advertising use.
