E-commerce lingerie sells on consistency: same set, same light, every colorway. This session photographed two bow-front and front-close lace designs in three colorways on a single grey sofa set with sheer backlit curtains and light wood flooring. Seven frames cover standing, seated and reclining poses, built as a listing library where the marketplace slots share one light map and one sofa, so the buyer compares colors instead of comparing sets.

Photography Challenges

1. Three colorways must read as one product family. Pink, white and dusty blue lace expose differently under the same window light. Exposure is anchored per colorway on the lace, not the skin, so the blush stays blush, the white keeps cup detail, and the blue does not sink into the grey upholstery.

2. White on white is the listing killer. A silver white set against sheer curtains merges fast. A soft negative fill along the model edge and a slightly stopped-down exposure keep the scalloped cup trim separated from the curtain glow without going dark on the sofa.

3. One sofa, seven poses, zero repetition. Marketplace slots need variety from one set. The pose map runs standing, sofa-arm seated, reclined and close crop, each framed to keep the bra construction readable, so seven frames cover main image, detail and lifestyle slots without a set change.

4. Sheer lace needs texture, not plastic. High-key e-commerce light flattens lace into a white smear. The key is feathered across the cup so the floral lace relief keeps its shadow, and retouch holds skin texture instead of smoothing the set into a render.

Our Approach

The pink opener.

Frame 1 sets the listing tone: the blush bow-front set on the sofa arm, legs crossed, the satin bow and scalloped cup trim sharp at listing zoom, with the curtain glow held just below clipping.

The white colorway block.

Frames 2 to 5 run the silver white front-close set through the full pose map: standing front and three-quarter, sofa-arm seated, and a full-length recline across the cushions for the lifestyle slot.

The dusty blue close.

Frames 6 and 7 switch wardrobe to the blue bow-front set and tighten the framing: a standing three-quarter and a seated close crop, proving the colorway grades identically to the pink opener.

Post-production for listing consistency.

All seven frames are matched to one neutral grade, lace texture is kept through careful sharpening, and each colorway is checked side by side so the listing page shows fabric difference, not light difference.

"In a colorway library the light map is the product. Lock it before the first frame and change only the wardrobe." — Garbo, Director of Photography

Frequently Asked Questions

How is a multi-colorway e-commerce session priced?

On-model lingerie sessions are billed from $800/day per photography team, with model, makeup and styling itemized separately. Colorway counts and pose maps are quoted in writing per project.

Can you keep colorways consistent across one listing?

Yes. We lock one light map and one set for the series, anchor exposure on the fabric per colorway, and grade the full set together, so colors differ by fabric, not by light.

How many poses do we get per colorway?

A typical run covers standing, seated and reclining frames per colorway, planned against your marketplace slot list before the shoot.

What is the turnaround?

Standard delivery is 5-7 business days from shoot day, including retouching and grade matching across the set.

Who owns the images?

You do, under a full commercial license covering marketplace, social and advertising use.
