A lookbook is one light map and thirteen wardrobe changes: the light never moves, and the wardrobe carries the variety. This session ran thirteen sets on a deep purple backdrop, from mosaic print and plum bralette through emerald mesh, magenta embossed lace, argyle check and red lace, each finished with its own stocking color and bangle stack. All frames were delivered under a full commercial license for the brand's lookbook and catalog use.

Photography Challenges
1. Thirteen looks, one consistent frame. A lookbook dies when frame 9 looks like a different day from frame 1. The key light, backdrop distance and exposure are locked before the first wardrobe change, and every look is checked against frame 1 on a calibrated screen before the model leaves the set.
2. Saturated color blocking fights the product. A purple backdrop, cyan cylinder, yellow cube and orchid stockings in one frame can bury a plum bra. Product colors are mapped against the prop palette per look, and any prop that matches the garment too closely moves out of the composition.
3. Hard light is the graphic element. The mod register needs crisp cast shadows as part of the design. A single hard key from high left throws one clean shadow per frame, and spill is flagged so the backdrop stays saturated instead of washing to lavender.
4. Bangles and patent props flare. Glossy resin stacks and varnished cubes throw speculars under a hard key. The light angle is set so reflections rake away from camera, and the bangles are re-stacked per look so the glare never crosses the product.
Our Approach
A composition system, not thirteen setups.
Each look takes one of three compositional formulas: perched on a prop, seated on the floor, or leaning against the stack. The formulas rotate so thirteen frames feel varied while the light stays identical.
The mustard exception.
Frame 5 swaps the backdrop to warm mustard for the lattice fishnet look: one deliberate palette break that becomes the campaign banner slot, planned at lighting design rather than discovered in the edit.
Hosiery as the color cue.
Every look pairs the set with a stocking color pulled from the prop palette: orchid, mustard, teal, burgundy, violet. The thigh-high band sits high in the frame so the color story reads even at thumbnail size.
Post-production for a color system.
Frames are graded to one saturated curve with the backdrop held to a fixed value, skin keeps its texture under the hard light, and each set's lace, mesh or fishnet texture is checked at full-size before delivery.
"Lock the light before the first wardrobe change. In a lookbook, consistency is the style." — Garbo, Director of Photography

Frequently Asked Questions
How is a 13-look lookbook session priced?
On-model lingerie sessions are billed from $800/day per photography team, with model, makeup, styling and the prop library itemized separately. A 13-look day is quoted per project after we see the wardrobe list.
Can you keep many looks visually consistent?
Yes. We lock the light map and backdrop before the first frame and check every look against the opening frame on set, so the full lookbook reads as one session.
Can you source the props and hosiery styling?
Yes. Our in-house team sources geometric props, bangles and hosiery against your palette board, confirmed with you before the shoot date.
What is the turnaround?
A 13-look lookbook delivers in 7-10 business days from shoot day, including retouching and the unified grade.
Who owns the images?
Your brand does, under a full commercial license covering lookbook, catalog, marketplace and advertising use.
