The client sells aftermarket seat cushions in two constructions: a slim breathable waffle-knit line that lays over factory seats, and a padded plaid-trimmed faux leather line with neck pillows. The brief asked for every colorway documented in place, front pair and rear bench, so each variation listing gets its own install proof. All nine frames were photographed at the AIMI Visual Media studio in Guangzhou, China.

Photography Challenges
1. Two cushion lines, nine frames, zero confusion. The mesh line and the plaid line serve different buyers. Frames are grouped by construction and seat position, with one repeated angle per position, so the catalog stays navigable and no frame has to carry a line it does not belong to.
2. Waffle knit turns to moire at close range. The 3D mesh weave aliases into shimmer when frames are downscaled for listings. The camera keeps a moderate working distance and masters are downsampled cleanly, so the texture reads as breathable knit instead of digital noise.
3. Dark cushions on dark seats lose their edges. Black cushion sets on black factory leather merge into one mass. A black backdrop behind the windows kills exterior distraction, and a soft fill panel from the door side separates cushion piping from the seat underneath.
Our Approach
Mesh line coverage.
Frames 01-05 and 09 walk the waffle-knit line through front and rear positions across four colorways, keeping the door-side angle constant so colorway swaps compare cleanly.
Plaid line coverage.
Frames 06-08 document the padded faux leather set, including a head-on bench frame and the front pair with its bowtie neck pillows fitted.
Bench framing discipline.
Every rear bench frame shares the same height and crop, because buyers compare colorways by flipping, and any drift in framing reads as a different product.
"Cushion buyers compare colorways side by side. Keep the camera still and let the product do the changing." — June, Product Photography Team Lead

Frequently Asked Questions
How is a multi-colorway cushion library priced?
In-car styled frames like these sit in our Growth package from $35 per image, white-background versions start from $12 per image under Essential, and full A+ Content sets start from $80 per SKU under Premium. All rates are starting prices, and the final quote depends on your requirements.
Can you cover every colorway in one session?
Yes. Camera positions are fixed per seat position before shooting starts, and colorways are swapped in sequence, so the full range is covered in a single session with matched framing.
How do you keep mesh texture clean when images are resized?
We shoot slightly off-axis to the weave and deliver masters downsampled with clean algorithms, which keeps the knit pattern smooth at marketplace resolutions.
Can we add white-background versions for main image slots?
Yes. Pure white-background shots for Amazon main image slots start from $12 per image under our Essential package. All final files are delivered at 2000x2000px sRGB, which exceeds Amazon's 1000px minimum requirement for the zoom feature, and include a full commercial license.
