Luxury Skincare Gift Set — Premium Unboxing Presentation
Challenge: A skincare brand needed photography for their premium gift set that communicated luxury and completeness — showing customers exactly what they would receive while maintaining an aspirational aesthetic. The turquoise gift box and green gradient bottles created a bold color combination that required careful handling to avoid visual clutter.
Approach: We composed the shot to show the open gift box alongside the individual products arranged in descending height order, creating a clear visual hierarchy. The turquoise box was positioned at an angle to display both the ornate oval logo and the interior, while the gradient green bottles were fanned outward to prevent color merging between adjacent items.
Lighting & Composition: A large overhead softbox provided clean, even illumination on the white background, while two strip lights from either side created the dramatic reflections on the glossy bottle surfaces and chrome caps. The white shooting surface reflected light upward into the products, filling shadows beneath the caps and maintaining detail in the darker forest-green base sections of each bottle.
Results: Two hero images delivered — one full set composition and one gift box close-up. The clean white-background approach ensured the vibrant product colors commanded full attention, making the images immediately usable across marketplace listings, brand website, and promotional materials.
