Photography Challenges

1. Foam and pearls have separate clocks. The foam holds for minutes, the pearls sink fast. The drink is assembled on set and shot immediately, while both still read fresh.

2. The printed menu must match the photos. The menu is printed with the same frames, so the colors and the grade are locked before the shoot, not after.

3. Fruit garnishes go dull under warm light. The strawberry and lemon props go waxy under warm light. The key is held neutral at 5500K so the fruit stays bright.

Our Approach

Milk tea block.

Frames 01, 03-04 and 06 cover the milk teas and milk caps with pearls, foam and caramel drizzle.

Fruit tea block.

Frames 02 and 05 cover the fruit teas with lemon, mint and strawberry on the pastel set.

Menu and group closers.

Frames 07-08 finish with the printed menu and the full-range group shot.

Post-production and delivery.

Retouching cleaned condensation and foam overshoot, matched the bright grade, and delivered 2000x2000px sRGB JPG plus WebP.

"A menu deliverable is a print contract: lock the grade before the shoot, so the printed menu matches the screen." — June, Product Photography Team Lead
