AIMI Visual Media produced a 3:09 event highlights film covering the Diamond Family SHINING HOUSE 2019 dealer conference. Shot multi-camera across a banquet hall and an outdoor team send-off, the 1920 x 1080, 25 fps master records the ballroom staging, key screen pages, and crowd scale, with standard delivery in seven business days.

Diamond Family’s dealer conference filled a banquet hall of chandeliers and gold relief, with a giant screen running the Diamond Life theme visuals under the SHINING HOUSE logo. The brief for highlights coverage is always the same double duty: an internal record of the event and outward social proof of brand scale. We shot wide for grandeur, captured every key page from the wireframe map of the national store network to the chairman’s keynote title card, and stayed close for human detail, the white-tee team gathering by the buses with VIP sleeve badges visible.

Creative Concept
Highlights footage lives or dies as evidence, so we planned around three must-get categories: the key pages on the big screen, the key people on stage, and the key moments in the crowd. The ballroom’s scale and a full house argue the brand’s weight without narration; the map of China dotted with store locations makes the network ambition visible; and the outdoor send-off closes the loop of the day, giving a grand conference a human temperature. A three-act spine, establishing scene, main program, transition out, keeps scattered material on a narrative skeleton instead of a diary.
Production
In the banquet hall we worked with the house light: chandeliers and stage wash recorded as they were, and screen content exposed for the display itself, since a bright screen against a dark room forces a choice and information legibility outranks flattering faces. The main program ran multi-camera: a primary position locked on stage and podium, a second body on audience reaction timed to the page-turn rhythm of the deck, and a roaming unit for the outdoor transition. Audio ran double-system, camera-top microphones for ambience plus a feed from the mixing desk for speeches, synced in post. The grade alternates ballroom gold with natural daylight, documentary throughout.
Production Challenges
1. Balancing a bright screen against a dark hall. We exposed for the screen as the baseline and accepted silhouetted people, because the title pages and theme visuals are the assets that get clipped for later distribution. Shooting to the page-turn rhythm meant framing was ready before each key page appeared.
2. A conference program never repeats. The chairman’s address happens once, so redundancy is the insurance policy: the main camera holds the stage, the second camera catches reactions, and both record when key pages appear. Position planning before doors open matters more than anything decided on the day.
3. Loose material easily becomes a diary. We cut on two tracks at once, timeline plus theme line, and gave the edit a three-act frame: establishing the hall, the program proper, the transition out. With that skeleton in place, fragments gain narrative order and the highlights cut plays like a story rather than a log.

Where the Film Lives
The finished cut runs on the brand’s official WeChat, circulates among dealers as event proof, anchors the post-event recap, and enters the company’s culture archive. Highlights value decays with time, so the fine cut is normally delivered within days of the event while the conversation is still warm, and a same-day quick cut can be arranged when the schedule demands it. Distribution follows the company’s publicity rules, and each platform’s current policies should be checked before publishing.
Cover a conference as if you were a delegate: shoot what the audience wants to see. The key page, the key person, the key moment; catch all three and the highlights cut earns its reach. (Garbo) — Garbo, Director of Photography
Frequently Asked Questions
How does a highlights film differ from a promotional film?
The nature differs: a promotional film is a planned narrative, while highlights are a record of the live event. Their value lies in being real and timely; delivering within two or three days of the conference catches the warmest window for distribution.
What is the trick to filming big-screen content?
Expose for the screen: use its brightness as the baseline and accept silhouetted people. Shoot to the page-turn rhythm and frame up before key pages appear. Title pages like the chairman’s keynote sit at the top of the must-get list.
How do multiple cameras divide the work on a conference?
The main camera holds the stage wide and the podium, the second camera catches audience reactions and details, and a roaming unit follows action outside the hall. Because the program never repeats, camera redundancy is the basic insurance of highlights work.
How much does conference highlights coverage like this cost?
Every event film is quoted per project and itemized from your brief: sessions, camera positions, crew size, and delivery speed each move the figure. Share your event outline through our contact page and we will return a detailed proposal.
Why include the outdoor send-off footage?
It is evidence of a complete route: the team gathering and boarding closes the event narrative and shows the organizational scale of the conference. In a highlights cut, this kind of frame becomes living material for the company’s culture archive.
Were the white-tee attendees event staff?
They were a uniformly dressed delegate team: conference attendees in matching white tees are standard practice for brand events, and the VIP sleeve badges mark guest tiers. Details like these are side evidence of the conference’s specification.
How is live audio handled on a conference shoot?
Multiple safeguards: camera-top microphones record room ambience, a line output from the mixing desk captures stage sound, and the two tracks are synced and selected in post. Speeches are core material for highlights, so audio quality must be guaranteed.
How fast can a highlights film be delivered?
The fine cut is normally delivered within three days, and a same-day quick cut can be arranged on request; standard full delivery runs seven business days. Highlights value decays over time, so speed is the key metric of this service.
Can you cut a 15-second version for social sharing?
Yes. The fine cut covers the full narrative, and short versions for social circulation are recut from the same material with pacing tuned to the placement. Tell us the channels you plan to use and we will prepare the versions to fit.
