AIMI Visual Media produced a 32-second cross-border e-commerce ad for the UCare lace-up stick-on bra, filmed in 1920×1080 on a white studio background. Shot on a Canon 5D Mark IV with LED constant lights, the film layers English selling points over on-model display. Delivery ran 3-5 business days.

The client is a cross-border seller, and the film speaks directly to overseas consumers: white background, a female model wearing the black lace-up style, English selling-point captions, and the classic left-text, right-person ad composition. Lace-Up, Stick-On, and Push-Up appear as three separate one-word claims matched to their corresponding shots, while the UCare name and site address sit in a pink block at frame left for the entire runtime. Intimate apparel ads abroad follow their own rules: measured exposure, direct claims, and honest on-body results.

Creative Concept
Overseas viewers decide within the first three seconds, so each claim gets one word and one matching shot: the drawstring pull pairs with Lace-Up, the close fit with Stick-On, the lift effect with Push-Up. No decoding required. The pink brand block stays on screen throughout because the standard job of an independent-site ad is answering “where do I buy” before the viewer asks. For lingerie, front, side, and back angles answer structure, fit, and no-trace wear, which is what buyers actually ask about.
Production
High-key white is the default tonal language of cross-border e-commerce: a pure white, shadow-free background reads bright and clean for both platform review and user taste. Two large softboxes evened the background from left and right, metered half a stop hotter than the key so the white goes fully clean. The model’s key light came soft from front-high for fine skin texture, with a fill opening the neck and collarbone shadows. Against white, the black bra reads with strong contrast, and the petal-edge cut stays crisp in every frame.
We locked 5500K across the whole kit so skin tone and the black product both hold true, leaving no color-correction fights in post. Structure display ran on controlled movement: the model works mainly in standing poses with gestures guiding the eye to the garment’s construction, so frames carry dense product information with natural posture and strong platform pass rates. Close-ups covered the petal-edge trim, the adhesive surface, and the drawstring. Caption sizing ran three tiers with the core words largest, and framing respected caption safe zones for small phone screens.
Production Challenges
1. Intimate apparel needs careful exposure management across platforms. Review standards differ by platform: too conservative and the claims go unexplained, too bold and the placement gets rejected. We show on-body results with restrained movement, standing poses with gestures directing attention to structure, which keeps approval rates reliable. Clients should still check each platform’s current policies.
2. The push-up effect lives in one drawstring pull. Force and speed both have to land right inside a single take. We ran more than a dozen pulls and kept the three smoothest, so the lift reads as a clean, continuous action rather than a struggle, which is what sells the mechanism to a first-time viewer.
3. English words blur on small phone screens. We set caption type in three size tiers with the core claims largest and composed every frame against caption safe zones. That keeps Lace-Up, Stick-On, and Push-Up legible on a phone feed without covering the product details the shots exist to show.

Where the Film Lives
The film’s home ground is the independent site and overseas social: homepage, product detail pages, and Facebook and Instagram ad slots, with 32 seconds sitting in the feed-ad sweet spot. For Amazon, versions should follow the platform’s main-image video rules for lingerie; other platforms are looser, but check current policies. Stills work directly as ad creatives and detail-page claim images, and the English caption layout is designed once and swapped for other languages, so European small-language markets reuse it cheaply.
In lingerie ads the words do the heavy lifting only when they match the picture frame for frame. One pull, one word, one clean take; that discipline is what makes 32 seconds feel complete. June. — June, Product Photography Team Lead
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a cross-border lingerie ad video cost?
Product videos at AIMI start from $200 per finished video. A cross-border ad like this, with on-model display, English caption packaging, and a caption-free version, is quoted by brief; model fees are billed separately by usage scope. Send product details for a same-day itemized quote.
How long does a cross-border ad take to produce?
This project delivered in 3-5 business days across script, shoot, and post. White-background single-product ads are our most practiced format, so the schedule stays short even with dozens of drawstring pulls to select from.
How do you handle platform review limits for lingerie ads?
We show on-body results with restrained movement: standing poses, gestures guiding attention to structure, dense information with natural posture. That balance keeps approval rates reliable across platforms, though we always advise checking each target platform’s latest policies before launch.
Why use generic category words instead of creative copy?
Words like Lace-Up, Stick-On, and Push-Up are the category’s shared language; overseas buyers understand them instantly. Caption budget goes to structure and hierarchy, not phrasing, because a word that needs no decoding always beats a clever line in a three-second decision window.
Which angles does an on-body lingerie film need?
Front shows construction, side shows fit, back shows the no-trace finish. Covering all three answers the questions buyers ask most, which measurably cuts pre-sale inquiries. This film adds close-ups of the petal-edge trim, adhesive surface, and drawstring for the rest.
Can the captions be swapped for other languages?
Yes. Delivery includes a caption-free clean version, and the English layout is built as a template, so translating into European small languages is a typesetting job rather than a re-edit. Reuse cost for additional markets stays low.
Does the black product against white cause exposure problems?
No, the contrast works for us. The background is metered half a stop above the key so the white stays clean, while the black bra keeps strong edge definition. That contrast is exactly what makes the petal-edge cut and cup structure read clearly.
Where should this 32-second version run?
Independent-site homepage and detail pages, plus Facebook and Instagram feed ads, where 32 seconds sits in the ideal length band. For Amazon, we adjust to the platform’s lingerie video rules. Stills from the same shoot serve as ad creatives and claim images.
