White-background intimate apparel lives or dies on fabric readability. This session covered two coordinated underwire sets for one label: a coral balconette with scalloped floral lace over satin, gold-charm ribbon bows at the gore and waistband, and a white set printed with large pink roses over a watercolor floral ground. Four three-quarter frames were delivered per the catalog crop: front and turned angles for each set, hands posed clear of the product so the lace edge, the print scale and the strap construction stay fully visible to the buyer.

Photography Challenges
1. Coral satin shifts hue under a broad soft key. Warm coral dyes drift toward orange when a large frontal source over-fills the set. The key is feathered across the model and metered on the bra cup, so the satin holds its true watermelon tone and the paler lace base keeps separation from the white backdrop.
2. Scalloped lace must survive marketplace zoom. Buyers open lace at full resolution to judge quality. A raking accent light runs along the cup edge so the scalloped relief and the floral stitch read at 100 percent crop, while the frontal fill keeps the shadow side clean of noise.
3. A large floral print distorts on a curved cup. Rose prints stretch across molded cups and can look warped in a flat product read. Poses are chosen so the cup faces the camera squarely on the hero frames, keeping the rose scale honest and the print registration visible at the center gore.
4. Two different fabrics must grade as one listing. Gloss coral satin and matte printed microfiber respond differently to the same light. One light map is built for the lace texture first, then the fill is rebalanced per wardrobe change, so both sets sit in one clean white-background grade.
Our Approach
The coral hero frame.
Frame 1 establishes the set with arms raised over the head: the balconette cup line, the scalloped underband and the charm bow all sit unobstructed, and the lifted arms open the side wing so the wide lace strap construction reads in full.
The coral sales frame.
Frame 2 turns the model three-quarter with a hand on the hip, the angle that shows cup projection and side support together. The hip hand is placed below the waistband so the brief front and its bow stay in clear view.
The rose print pair.
Frames 3 and 4 carry the white printed set: a relaxed front frame with the hand on the thigh, and a turned frame with the hand at the shoulder. Both keep the printed cup square to camera so the rose motif reads at catalog scale.
Post-production for marketplace delivery.
All four frames are matched to one neutral white grade, skin keeps its texture under the beauty light, and the sets are checked against marketplace background tolerance so the delivered masters drop straight into the client's listing templates.
"On white-background lingerie, meter the bra cup, not the backdrop. If the fabric tone is right, the white takes care of itself." — Garbo, Director of Photography
