Bathrooms sell the room tier as hard as the bed, and this suite bathroom was documented as a two-frame pan: the vanity zone with twin inset sinks under frameless mirrors, then the tub zone with its round bath in a curved marble platform. Both frames hold strict symmetry against the mirror walls, so the recursive reflections read as depth rather than confusion. The black marble, chrome and warm wood blinds carry the palette; the job of the photography is simply to keep every line plumb and every reflection honest in a room made almost entirely of mirrors.

Photography Challenges

1. A room of mirrors. Every wall doubles the camera position. Frames are placed so the photographer reflection never enters the recursive mirror paths, verified at full size on site.

2. Black marble shows everything. Dust, drips and cloth marks read instantly on polished black stone. The surface is detailed to camera, then retouched for the final finish.

3. Warm lamps against cool stone. Downlights run warm against taupe and black surfaces. One balance per zone keeps the marble black and the blinds warm without cross-contamination.

4. Symmetry or nothing. A millimeter off-axis doubles in the mirrors. The tripod is squared to the mirror grid and checked against the reflected lines before each exposure.

Our Approach

Two-zone pan, one grade.

Vanity first, then the tub from the matching height, so the pair reads as one continuous space on the booking page.

Mirrors used, not fought.

The recursive reflections are composed deliberately to multiply the fixtures, making a compact bathroom read grand.

Details staged sparse.

Two orchid stems, folded mats, nothing else: luxury bathrooms photograph best nearly empty.

Lines before light.

Verticals and symmetry are locked before any exposure blending, because no grade rescues a bowed mirror line.

"In a mirror room the camera is always in the picture. Your job is to decide exactly where it is not." — Garbo, Director of Photography

Frequently Asked Questions

How is hotel bathroom photography priced?

On-location property work is quoted per project: room count, zones and the shot list drive the rate. Studio product photography starts at $12 per image under our Essential package for reference. Send your brief and we will return a written quote.

Can you avoid camera reflections in mirror-heavy rooms?

Yes. Positions are planned against the mirror geometry and verified at full size on site, with residual traces retouched.

Do two frames really cover a bathroom?

For a single-space suite bathroom, a two-zone pan at matched height and grade covers vanity and bathing fully; larger bathrooms scale the same method.

What is the turnaround?

Standard delivery is 5-7 business days from shoot day, including retouching and pair grade matching.

Can this be combined with a full room set?

Yes. Bathroom frames are normally shot inside the same visit as the guest room and public area coverage.

Who owns the images?

Your property does, under a full commercial license covering booking platforms, web, social and print.
