The client manufactures vehicle-specific coil PVC mats and needed install coverage that answers both fit questions at once: how the mat sits in the driver footwell and how it wraps the passenger side tunnel. Six frames cover four colorways across two interiors, from the dark cabin set to a cream SUV. All were photographed at the AIMI Visual Media studio in Guangzhou, China.

Photography Challenges

1. Two cabins, one library. The dark cabin set and the cream SUV interior light differently. Exposure is balanced per cabin and the coil color is checked against a reference card, so the beige mat in frame 04 matches the beige mat in frame 05 regardless of interior.

2. Speckled coil hides its own structure. The mixed-filament speckle that hides dirt also flattens texture under even light. A low raking key raises shadow inside every curl, making the material read as engineered coil rather than flat carpet.

3. Passenger fit is the harder sell. The transmission tunnel taper is where generic mats fail. Frames 05 and 06 are cropped tight on the tunnel wrap and edge binding, turning the most-asked fit question into a picture.

Our Approach

Driver footwell colorways first.

Frames 01-04 walk four colorways through two interiors from the same door-side position, keeping sill and pedals in frame as fixed scale references.

Passenger position proof.

Frames 05 and 06 move to the passenger footwell, documenting the tunnel taper fit and the bound edge that generic universal mats cannot match.

Heel pad as the quality signature.

The diamond-stitched heel pad is kept in the lower third of every driver frame, so the reinforced zone is visible on every colorway without a separate detail shoot.

"Coil mats sell on fit and texture. Get the raking light right and the material explains itself." — June, Product Photography Team Lead

Frequently Asked Questions

How is a multi-colorway mat library priced?

Styled in-car frames like these sit in our Growth package from $35 per image, white-background versions start from $12 per image under Essential, and full A+ Content sets start from $80 per SKU under Premium. All rates are starting prices, and the final quote depends on your requirements.

Can you cover both footwells across several vehicles?

Yes. We keep multiple interiors available and repeat fixed positions per footwell, so driver and passenger coverage across cabins completes in one session.

How do you keep mat colors accurate between interiors?

A color reference card is shot in each cabin before the mats change, and the files are matched in retouching, so one colorway reads identically in a dark cabin and a cream one.

Can we add white-background versions for marketplace slots?

Yes. Pure white-background shots for Amazon main image slots start from $12 per image under our Essential package. All final files are delivered at 2000x2000px sRGB, which exceeds Amazon's 1000px minimum requirement for the zoom feature, and include a full commercial license.
