Swatch work and art work are different disciplines. A swatch must be honest: one shade, true color, clean finish. An art frame must be a little theatre: a prop that earns the palette, a pose that shows all ten nails. This set does both, including the compact-and-result frame that gel sticker listings live on. Model fee quoted separately from photography.

Photography Challenges

1. Navy that stays navy. Deep blues drift toward black on dark sets and toward purple on cool papers. The swatch frames had to hold the shade true across cyan, peach and matte black backgrounds.

2. Tiny art, readable at listing size. Hand-painted details like the monkey face and the banana minis live at millimeter scale. Frames were composed so the art survives marketplace compression, not just full-resolution viewing.

3. Compact plus result in one glance. The gel sticker frame pairs the retail compact with the finished manicure it produces. Two focal points, one frame, zero confusion about what is being sold.

Our Approach

Shade-checked swatches

Single-shade frames were verified against the physical polish on set, with background papers chosen to flatter without shifting the read: cyan to deepen navy, matte black to make it glow.

Prop-echo composition

Every art frame pairs the manicure with the object that explains it: hydrangeas for the blue palette, a banana for the Monkey King set, a sunflower for the yellow florals. The prop is the caption.

Pose sequencing for ten nails

Overlapping and cradle poses were directed to show all ten nails without finger stacking, so pattern continuity across both hands reads in a single frame.

"A swatch sells the shade; an art frame sells the skill. Nail galleries need both, and they should never be lit the same way." — Garbo, Model Photography Director

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you shoot both swatches and nail art in one booking?

Yes. Swatch heroes and art scenes share one session: we shoot the honest single-shade frames first, then build the art concepts. One model, one day, a full gallery. Model fee is quoted separately.

How do you photograph gel nail stickers for listings?

The key frame pairs the retail packaging with the finished manicure it produces, so buyers see product and result together. We add detail crops of the sticker sheet and the applied finish.

Can you match our brand’s campaign colors?

Yes. Background papers and props are matched to your palette before the shoot, and polish shades are verified against physical product on set, so campaign color stays exact across every frame.

Shades to prove and art to show off?

Send the range. We will swatch it honestly, style it loudly and deliver both halves of the gallery your buyers scroll for.
