Lash products are bought by professionals first, so the campaign had to speak two dialects: the kit frames that prove range and organization to the technician, and the beauty frames that sell the finish to the client in the chair. One model, one nude world and one lilac world, directed to hold both. Model fee quoted separately from photography.

Photography Challenges
1. Lashes as proof, not costume. The model’s own lash work is the product demo. Her set had to read full and separated at portrait distance, applied to salon standard, because every professional buyer checks the model first.
2. A kit with a hundred SKUs. The display case holds rows of curls, lengths and shades. The frame had to read as organized abundance, not clutter, with labels legible enough to prove the range.
3. Tiny bottle, big frame. The adhesive is a 10ml square bottle. Held at cheek level it shares the frame with the whole face, so the angle had to put its label dead to camera without the hand taking over.
Our Approach
Demo-standard makeup
The model’s lash application was done to working-salon standard before the shoot, because the beauty frames double as the product proof. Camera-ready means chair-ready in this category.
Tray-first kit composition
The open kit was leveled and lit so each row reads as its own band, with the model’s hands resting at the case edge to give the tray scale and a human anchor.
Label-locked product pose
For the adhesive frame, the bottle position was marked on set: thumb behind, fingers below, label squared to the lens, cheek as the backdrop. The pose was rehearsed until the label held without grip tension.
"In pro beauty, the model is the demo. If her lash work would not pass a technician’s inspection, no amount of lighting will save the campaign." — Garbo, Model Photography Director

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you shoot professional lash and beauty products with models?
Yes. We cast for the category, apply demo-standard lash work before call time, and shoot both kit presentation and beauty portrait families in one session. Model fee is quoted separately from photography.
How do you photograph a full lash kit without clutter?
By treating the tray as the composition: the case is leveled, rows are lit as bands, and the model anchors the frame at the case edge. The eye reads organized abundance rather than a pile.
Do small products work in model frames?
Yes, with a label-locked pose: the product position is marked and rehearsed so the label squares to the lens at cheek level. The face provides the context; the product keeps its legibility.
A pro beauty line that needs a face the technicians trust?
Send the range. We will cast the model, prep the demo and deliver a campaign that passes professional inspection.
