The product is Wu Zhi Yun honey: comb honey pieces and glass jars sold as a premium natural line. The frames had to prove the comb texture and the pour, so the rustic set carries the story frames and clean white cutouts cover the catalog slots. All 10 frames were shot at the AIMI Visual Media studio in Guangzhou, China.

Photography Challenges

1. Honey drip is a sticky clock. The drip lands where it wants. The dipper is held in a clamp and the honey is warmed to a fixed temperature so the drip falls in the same place every take.

2. Comb texture is fragile. The comb surface dents under handling. The comb is placed with tweezers and shot within minutes of unpacking.

3. Two reads must stay one brand. The rustic story frames and the white cutouts could split the page. The jar is the constant, so both reads land as one product.

Our Approach

Rustic story block.

Frames 01-05 work the wood set: the jar and comb, the drip, the pour, the comb macro and the bee props.

White cutout block.

Frames 06-07 switch to clean white for the catalog reads.

Pairing and range closers.

Frames 08-10 finish with the tea pairing, the range group and the wide set view.

Post-production and delivery.

Retouching held the honey glow, cleaned the drips, and delivered 2000x2000px sRGB JPG plus WebP.

"Honey photography is viscosity control: warm the jar, clamp the dipper, and the drip lands on cue." — June, Product Photography Team Lead
