The product is red-heart kiwifruit, sliced into rounds to show the red heart pattern. The frame is the detail companion to the lemon and kiwi library: the same cutting board, the same light map, only the fruit changes. Shot at the AIMI Visual Media studio in Guangzhou, China.

Photography Challenges

1. Kiwi slices dry at the edges. The slice edges dull within minutes of cutting. The kiwi is sliced on set and the frame is shot immediately while the flesh still glistens.

2. The red heart must read in every slice. The slices are fanned so each round shows the red heart pattern, not hidden behind its neighbor.

3. One frame must match the library. The cutting board and the light map are the same as the parent lemon and kiwi set, so the detail page reads as the same system.

Our Approach

Slice on set.

The kiwi is sliced into thin rounds immediately before the frame, so the flesh reads fresh.

Fan for the pattern.

The rounds are fanned on the cutting board so every slice shows the red heart.

Post-production and delivery.

Retouching held the flesh brightness, cleaned the board, and delivered 2000x2000px sRGB JPG plus WebP.

"A fruit detail frame is a freshness race: slice on set, fan for the pattern, and shoot before the edges dry." — June, Product Photography Team Lead
