Premium Rice Gift Box Product Photography

The product is a premium rice gift box with a rice bag inside. Rice sells on the kernel, so the library covers the dark moody box read, the farmhouse set with grain scoops, the translucent kernel macro and the cooked bowl for the appetite proof. All 12 frames were shot at the AIMI Visual Media studio in Guangzhou, China.

Photography Challenges

1. Rice kernels need transmitted light. A pile of rice reads as white gravel under flat light. A backlight through the scoop makes the kernels glow translucent, which is the quality signal.

2. The pour has one clean window. Rice pouring from the bag reads for a second before it heaps. The pour is shot at high flash duration so the stream freezes mid-fall.

3. Three moods, one brand. The dark box read, the farmhouse set and the flat lay share one grade family so the library reads as one rice line.

Frames 08-09 and 11-12 finish with the farmhouse set, the bag walk-around, the range group and the wide view.

Post-production and delivery.

Retouching held the kernel translucency, matched the grade family, and delivered 2000x2000px sRGB JPG plus WebP.
