Fifteen frames for a dried shrimp snack line: cyan and red set worlds, beer pairing scenes, pack walk-arounds and levitation details, built as a full snack library with label-first cropping at the AIMI Visual Media studio in Guangzhou. The set is planned for listing, campaign, delivery-platform and social crops without losing the label. More work from this category lives in our food photography services page.

The product is a savory dried shrimp snack sold in retail pouches. The brief needed more than a bag shot: the set had to sell the salty snack moment with beer, show the pouch clearly, and give social crops that feel energetic without losing the label. All 15 frames were shot at the AIMI Visual Media studio in Guangzhou, China.

Photography Challenges
1. A loud snack set can swallow the pouch. Cyan paper, red props and beer bottles all fight for attention. The pouch is always placed on the cleanest color plane first, then props are added at the edges so the label stays the brightest readable object.
2. Beer pairing must read as suggestion, not bar ad. The beer is there to explain the snack occasion. Bottles stay out of focus and never share the same sharp plane as the pouch, so the image reads as food pairing rather than alcohol advertising.
3. Levitation frames need clean crumbs. Flying shrimp pieces are shot against the same color card with fast flash, then composited only where the falling pieces already sit in the right depth plane.
Our Approach
Color-blocked snack worlds.
Frames 01-05 build the cyan and red sets with the pouch as the fixed center. Each flavor cue is kept as a small prop zone so the packaging remains the main read.
Occasion frames.
Frames 06-10 bring in beer glasses, bottles and tabletop shadows for the salty-snack moment, still with the pouch label locked to camera.
Motion and detail frames.
Frames 11-15 tighten to shrimp texture, pour action and controlled levitation for social cuts and banner crops.
"Snack photography is appetite plus label discipline. If the bag is not readable in the loudest frame, the frame is not done." — June, Product Photography Team Lead
