The client builds solid walnut seating and storage in an organic curved language: an armchair whose back rail flows into the armrests and legs without a break, and a four-tier bookshelf whose uprights scroll over the top and under the base. The brief asked for a full angle walk of both pieces plus close-ups that prove the solid wood construction. All seven frames were photographed at the AIMI Visual Media studio in Guangzhou, China.

Photography Challenges
1. Dark walnut dies against a dark ground. Deep chocolate frames vanish if the backdrop is too close in value. A graduated grey cyclorama, darker above and pale at the floor, separates the silhouette while a soft key keeps the grain visible in the shadows.
2. One continuous line explains the design. The chair reads as a single flowing curve, so one hero angle would hide how the arm becomes the leg. The set walks front, three-quarter and rear views, with the rear frame revealing the shaped splat and stretcher.
3. Close-ups carry the solid-wood proof. At listing size buyers cannot tell solid walnut from a veneer wrap. Tight joinery frames at the arm-to-leg transition and the shelf scroll keep grain continuity and the laminated bend readable at zoom.
Our Approach
Chair angle walk.
Frames 01-03 circle the armchair: straight front for the yoke silhouette, a three-quarter for seat depth, and a raised rear three-quarter that shows the splat, arm loop and rear stretcher.
Shelf in the same light map.
Frames 05-06 photograph the matching bookshelf from front and high three-quarter under the identical key, so the pair presents as one collection on the product page.
Joinery and grain close-ups.
Frames 04 and 07 move in on the arm-to-leg transition and the scrolled shelf upright, giving the listing its material-proof frames at full zoom.
"Curved solid wood sells on two frames: the silhouette that stops the scroll, and the joinery close-up that justifies the price. Shoot for both or the listing does half the job." — June, Product Photography Team Lead

Frequently Asked Questions
How is a two-piece furniture set priced?
Styled studio frames like these sit in our Growth package from $35 per image, white-background versions start from $12 per image under Essential, and full A+ Content sets start from $80 per SKU under Premium. All rates are starting prices, and the final quote depends on your requirements.
Can you keep dark wood grain readable without brightening the whole frame?
Yes. The set is lit for the wood with a graduated backdrop separating the silhouette, so shadow-side grain keeps detail while the frame stays rich instead of washed flat.
Can matched collections share one lighting setup?
Yes. Companion pieces are photographed under one locked light map with the camera walk logged, so chairs, shelves and tables present as a single coordinated collection.
Can we add white-background versions for marketplace slots?
Yes. Pure white-background shots for Amazon main image slots start from $12 per image under our Essential package. All final files are delivered at 2000x2000px sRGB, which exceeds Amazon's 1000px minimum requirement for the zoom feature, and include a full commercial license.
