The client sells solid wood platform beds and matching casegoods in light oak and blonde finishes, aimed at bright small bedrooms. The brief asked for high-key rooms that make the wood feel warm rather than heavy, including one bed photographed both minimal and fully dressed. All four frames were photographed at the AIMI Visual Media studio in Guangzhou, China, with window greenery dressed as printed backdrops.

Photography Challenges

1. High-key rooms bleach light wood. Blown-out windows and pale floors can turn oak into white plastic. Exposure is held so the window clips but the headboard keeps its grain, and the grade pulls warmth back into the wood without darkening the room.

2. One bed, two dressings, zero drift. Frames 03-04 show the same golden oak bed minimal and fully styled. The camera and light stay locked while bedding and casegoods change, so buyers compare dressings, not angles.

3. Casegoods must match the hero finish. Nightstands, dressers and wardrobes ship as bundles with the bed. Each room is styled with its matching pieces and graded as one set, so the bundle reads as a single coordinated purchase.

Our Approach

Coastal hero first.

Frame 01 opens the set with the honey oak slanted-headboard bed in a sea-view room, the aspirational frame the listing leads with.

Blonde suite as the range frame.

Frame 02 stages the spindle bed with open wardrobe and drawer chest against white brick, showing the pale finish and the storage story in one read.

One bed, minimal and dressed.

Frames 03-04 hold the camera on the golden oak hero bed: first clean with a writing desk, then fully dressed with double dresser and floor lamp, giving the listing its before and after pair.

"Light wood sells brightness. Keep the window hot and the wood warm, and a small bedroom looks like a decision already made." — June, Product Photography Team Lead

Frequently Asked Questions

How is a four-room bed shoot priced?

Styled room frames like these sit in our Growth package from $35 per image, white-background versions start from $12 per image under Essential, and full A+ Content sets start from $80 per SKU under Premium. All rates are starting prices, and the final quote depends on your requirements.

Can you keep light wood warm in bright rooms?

Yes. Exposure is set so windows clip while the wood holds its grain, and the grade restores warmth to the finish without pulling the whole room dark.

Can one bed be shot in several dressings?

Yes. The camera and light stay locked while bedding and casegoods are restyled, so minimal and dressed versions compare frame for frame on the listing.

Can we add white-background versions for marketplace slots?

Yes. Pure white-background shots for Amazon main image slots start from $12 per image under our Essential package. All final files are delivered at 2000x2000px sRGB, which exceeds Amazon's 1000px minimum requirement for the zoom feature, and include a full commercial license.
