The client sells a white solid wood crib that converts into a toddler daybed, and the listing had to prove both modes. The brief asked for crib-mode frames with a toddler model showing real rail-height and play behavior, then the converted bed on the same set so parents could compare configurations. All eight frames were photographed at the AIMI Visual Media studio in Guangzhou, China.

Photography Challenges
1. A white crib in a high-key nursery clips fast. White slats against a sunlit window wall blow out if the frame is exposed for the room. Exposure is set for the crib with the window pulled down in post, so slat edges stay drawn while the set keeps its bright morning feel.
2. Toddlers give you seconds, not setups. A two-year-old will not repeat a pose. The camera stays locked on a pre-lit set while the crew plays the model through standing, teething and fussy beats, shooting continuously so each behavior is caught sharp.
3. The conversion must read as the same product. Parents compare crib and daybed side by side. The set, light and camera height hold identical while the side rail comes off, so the conversion frames read as a configuration change, not a different bed.
Our Approach
Crib mode first, behavior by the frame.
Frames 01-06 work the nursery with the model: seated exploration, standing at the rail, the teething lean and the fussy moment, each one a real listing scenario for the target parent.
Rail height as a feature frame.
Standing frames are composed to show the top rail against the model at chest height, the visual proof parents use to judge containment.
Conversion restage, same room.
Frames 07-08 remove the side rail and present the toddler daybed with the model seated and then standing beside it, closing the grows-with-your-child story the product page needs.
"Nursery furniture is bought by parents measuring safety with their eyes. Show the rail against a standing child and the conversion in the same room, and the spec sheet becomes believable." — Garbo, Director of Photography

Frequently Asked Questions
How is a crib session with a model priced?
Model lifestyle frames like these sit in our Growth package from $35 per image, white-background versions start from $12 per image under Essential, and full A+ Content sets start from $80 per SKU under Premium. All rates are starting prices, and the final quote depends on your requirements.
Can you photograph crib conversions without changing the set?
Yes. Convertible modes are restaged on the same locked set, so crib and daybed configurations compare frame to frame with identical light and styling.
How do you work with toddler models?
Short, play-led sessions. The set is lit before the child arrives, and the crew shoots continuously through natural behavior, which is how stand, teething and fussy frames are caught without forcing poses.
Can we add white-background versions for marketplace slots?
Yes. Pure white-background shots for Amazon main image slots start from $12 per image under our Essential package. All final files are delivered at 2000x2000px sRGB, which exceeds Amazon's 1000px minimum requirement for the zoom feature, and include a full commercial license.
