A girls summer studio session from the AIMI Visual Media team in Guangzhou, China: four warm-weather looks on one bright green sweep, two sundresses and two striped tank sets, each frame composed with two-thirds empty space reserved for layout copy. More work from this category lives in our childrenswear photography gallery.

Summer listings live on color and air. This four-look set holds one green sweep and one light recipe while the wardrobe rotates. Frame 1 leads with a yellow bold-floral sundress and gerbera hair clip, the model hugging her cheeks in a shy gesture. Frame 2 kicks a retro pastel halter sundress forward, bare foot lifted under the tiered skirt, all motion. Frame 3 switches to separates: an aqua striped tie-side tank with pink shorts and gold gladiator sandals, a navy polka bow between her pigtails. Frame 4 closes with geek-chic: a striped tank with mint shorts, oversized black glasses and a yellow polka bow, hands in pockets. Every frame leaves two-thirds empty green for layout copy.

Photography Challenges
1. A saturated sweep can bounce color. Bright green kicks spill onto skin and white fabrics. The model stands forward of the sweep, the floor runs pale grey, and flags trim the bounce, so whites stay white and skin keeps its own temperature.
2. Four looks need four distinct energies. Shy, kicking, cheeky, geek-chic: each look is assigned a gesture family before wardrobe, so the set never repeats a pose and the capsule page reads as four moods, not four duplicates.
3. Barefoot frames demand tidy floors. Frames 1 and 2 go barefoot; the pale floor is cleaned between takes and checked at full crop, because a dusty sole or floor mark reads instantly on a high-key set.
4. Negative space must stay usable. Copy space is composed, not leftover: the model sits on the right third of horizontal frames, shadow falling away from the empty lanes, so marketing text can land without retouching.
Our Approach
The shy opener.
Frame 1 wraps the model in a cheek-hug gesture, knees together; the yellow sundress and gerbera clip hold the palette tight, and the green field behind stays clean for headline space.
The motion frame.
Frame 2 marks a balance point and lets the kick happen; arms spread for real balance, the tiered skirt lifts, and the retro floral reads even mid-motion because the print repeat is large.
The separates frames.
Frames 3 and 4 square the model to camera with hands in pockets or behind the head; tank ties, rolled shorts hems and sandal straps all face forward for catalog documentation.
One light, four moods.
The sweep, key and fill stay locked across the session; variety comes from gesture, wardrobe and hair pieces, which keeps the four-frame family consistent on the listing.
"Compose the empty space before you compose the child. On a listing page, the green you leave behind is where the price and the button live." — Garbo, Director of Photography

Frequently Asked Questions
How is a four-look summer studio session priced?
Studio childrenswear sessions are billed from $800/day per photography team, with child model agency fees itemized; a four-look capsule can also be quoted per image under our Growth tier from $35/image.
Can frames be composed for text overlay?
Yes. We compose copy space deliberately, model on one third and shadow falling away, so marketing text and buttons land without retouching.
How do you handle color spill from a bright backdrop?
The model stands forward of the sweep, flags trim the bounce, and whites are checked at full crop on set.
What is the turnaround?
Standard delivery is 5-7 business days from shoot day, including retouching and grade matching across all looks.
Who owns the images?
Your brand does, under a full commercial license covering catalog, marketplace, social and advertising use.
