A lookbook asks every set to feel different while grading as one story. This session staged six coordinated sets across a bright bedroom: an ivory plunge set on the bed, an ivory lace-trim bralette under a striped overshirt on the windowsill, a mint lace plunge on the pale wood floor, a taupe front-clasp with strappy cup detail by the door, a black keyhole bralette set on the window nook, and a dusty mauve satin and lace front-clasp reading in two frames. Sunlight through venetian blinds gives the series its graphic shadow stripe, and seven frames keep clasps, lace edges and strap paths readable inside the lifestyle register.

Photography Challenges
1. Six sets must grade as one light story. Ivory, mint, taupe, black and mauve fabrics expose differently under the same window. The day is built on one window-light logic with a fixed fill position, exposure re-metered per wardrobe change, so all seven frames sit in one bright, airy grade.
2. Blind shadows can stripe the product. The graphic shadow band is the series' signature, but a stripe across a cup kills the fabric read. Blocking places the shadow bands on the wall, the floor and the bedding, with the model angled so the garment plane stays in the clean light between bands.
3. Front clasps and keyholes are small hardware. The taupe and mauve sets sell on their center-front closures. These frames crop tighter and keep hands low and away from the sternum, so the clasp, the bow and the keyhole trim read at catalog scale without a separate macro pass.
4. Lifestyle props must stay subordinate. The striped overshirt, magazines and plants give the bedroom its lived-in register. Props stay at frame edges or draped off the shoulder, never covering the garment front, and all are unbranded so no third-party mark enters the listing.
Our Approach
The bed frames.
Frames 1 and 7 bookend the series on the white bed: the ivory set in a seated elbow-on-knee pose with lace texture raked by the window light, and the mauve set in a side recline that shows the lace wing and high-leg line.
The windowsill frame.
Frame 2 drapes the striped overshirt off the shoulders over the ivory bralette, the classic getting-ready lookbook beat, with the scalloped lace neckline held square between the open shirt fronts.
The floor and door frames.
Frames 3, 4 and 6 use the pale wood floor and the white door: the mint set cross-legged with its satin bow, the taupe front-clasp leaning with its strappy cup detail, and the mauve set seated with the magazine at the frame edge.
The window nook frame and grade.
Frame 5 gives the black set its own register on the nook bench, lace medallion and keyhole trim against the white slats. All frames grade to one bright balance, shadows held clean so lace relief and satin sheen stay distinct per fabric.
"A lookbook is a playlist, not a shuffle: same light logic, different beats. Change the set, the pose and the prop, never the grade." — Garbo, Director of Photography

Frequently Asked Questions
How is a lookbook session priced?
On-model lookbook sessions are billed from $800/day per photography team, with model, makeup, styling and set costs itemized separately. Multi-set packages return a written per-project quote after a brief call.
Can you keep several sets consistent across one day?
Yes. We build one light logic for the day, re-meter per wardrobe change, and grade the whole series to one balance so the catalog reads as a single story.
Can you style props like overshirts and magazines?
Yes. Styling props are planned with your brief and kept unbranded, so the frames carry your garments and nothing else.
What is the turnaround?
Standard delivery is 5-7 business days from shoot day, including retouching and grade matching across the series.
Who owns the images?
Your brand does, under a full commercial license covering catalog, marketplace, social and advertising use.
