Photography Challenges
1. Sheer sleeve control. The chiffon sleeves and flutter dress sleeves could lose texture if light passed through them too evenly. We kept the key light directional and used the coral wall as a warm reflected fill so sheerness read as fabric detail rather than a washed-out highlight.
2. Leaf-shadow placement. Dappled foliage shadows were the signature look, but they also risked covering the face or breaking across garment seams. We positioned the shadow pattern mainly on the wall and floor, leaving skin clear and letting shadows touch hems where they added depth.
3. Accessory balance. Red floral earrings, a pearl torque choker, and black patent stilettos are strong details that could pull attention from the clothes. We framed full-length looks to show them as accents and used closer crops only when the accessory supported the blouse or neckline.
4. Consistency across three outfits. Standing, leaning, and seated poses all had to match one coral corner and one warm light direction. We kept the same wall exposure and shadow direction while changing only the model's pose, shoes, and accessories.
Our Approach
Set and light design.
We built the shoot around the coral/terracotta plaster corner and used warm directional light with foliage shadows. The corner gave each outfit a clean background while the sunbeam and leaf patterns added atmosphere for Shopify and Amazon use.
Wardrobe and accessory styling.
Three outfits were planned across one studio day: navy floral with wide-leg trousers, blush knit with a midi skirt and culottes, and pale blue chiffon. Statement earrings, pearl jewelry, and structured cream bags were matched to each neckline and silhouette.
Retouching and Delivery.
Retouching focused on natural skin, fabric cleanup, and consistent coral tones across all five frames. We prepared crops suitable for Amazon image slots and A+ Content, then delivered 2000x2000px sRGB JPEGs with WebP copies and a full commercial license.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much did this package cost?
Five on-model fashion lifestyle images at $45 per image cost $225 total. The order did not reach the 10+ SKU discount tier, so no volume discount applied.
What is the standard turnaround?
Standard studio turnaround is 5-7 business days. This five-image set was delivered in 5 business days.
Are the images compliant with Amazon?
Yes. Files are exported at 2000x2000px in sRGB, with no added text, borders, or misleading props. The full commercial license covers Amazon and Shopify use.
How did you create the dappled leaf-shadow look?
We placed foliage between the warm key light and the plaster corner so leaf shadows fell on the wall and floor, then adjusted the distance to keep the model's face clear while leaving the pattern visible around the garments.
Can we art-direct the shoot remotely?
Yes. Clients ship garment samples and accessories to our Guangzhou studio, then review posing, styling, and captures through a live remote feed during the session.
How do you keep future reorders consistent?
We save the coral wall setup, light direction, styling notes, and reference frames, so additional SKUs can match the same Amazon and Shopify catalog look.
