Three cleansing SKUs through one locked setup: a blue-gradient dual-phase remover, a frosted rose emulsion and a clear micellar water, each holding identical geometry so the whole range reads as one family on the listing page across every online channel. More work from this category lives in our cosmetics photography archive.

This session was a packaging family reunion: three bottles from related lines that share nothing visually except category. The client needed each SKU to look like it belonged to the same brand world, so we ran all three through one light map and one camera position, letting the packaging differences carry the variety.
| Project Overview | |
|---|---|
| Product type | Dual-phase eye and lip remover; hyaluronic emulsion; micellar water |
| Deliverables | Three matched white-set packshots |
| Shoot location | AIMI studio, Guangzhou |
| Styling | Seamless white, centered single bottles, no props |
| Usage | Marketplace main and secondary slots across the range |
Photography Challenges
1. One light map for three surface types. Glossy gradient plastic, frosted glass and clear liquid each take light differently. A setup tuned for one leaves the next either flat or flaring.
2. Keeping gradient finishes honest. The blue-to-white fade on the dual-phase bottle is the product's whole identity. Push the exposure for the cap and the gradient washes out; protect the gradient and the cap goes dull.
3. Label legibility on frosted and clear surfaces. Frosted surfaces scatter light into the print and clear bottles show the back label through the front. Buyers must read product names at listing size.
Our Approach
A compromise light, tuned per bottle
We locked a flagged softbox key with a white card fill that served all three surfaces acceptably, then adjusted only flag positions between bottles. Camera and background never moved, which is what makes the trio sit together on a page.
Gradient-first metering
For the dual-phase bottle we exposed for the mid-gradient, letting the rose-gold cap hold one shaped highlight from a strip box. The fade stays saturated and the metal still reads as metal.
Print-angle discipline
Each bottle was rotated so the front label faces square to camera with the back label hidden exactly behind it, killing the show-through double text that plagues clear packaging.
"Range consistency is not a retouch problem. It is decided by how little you allow yourself to change between products on the day." — June, Product Photography Team Lead

Frequently Asked Questions
Can different bottle types share one session?
Yes. We lock camera, background and base lighting, then adjust only flags and small sources per bottle. The range lands on the listing page with one visual logic.
How do you keep frosted and gradient packaging accurate?
Meter for the finish that defines the product, shape highlights with strips and flags rather than global exposure, and resist brightening in post. Accuracy is what makes premium packaging believable.
Will these pass marketplace main-image review?
They are built for it: pure white, centered single product, true geometry, no props or text added. Any styled variants are delivered separately for secondary slots.
A range that needs to look like one family?
Send the SKUs. We will run them through one locked setup and deliver a set where only the product changes, exactly how range pages should read.
