Five frames for a Hisense home air purifier across three metallic colorways: high angles that read the touch control deck and LED air-quality strip, plus front and profile coverage that keeps the curved cabinet and chrome trim consistent from every side.

This purifier line sells on finish: rose gold, champagne and bronze over the same curved cabinet. The session locked one camera height and lit the metallic shells with long soft reflections, then ran the colorways through the same marks so buyers compare finishes, not photography. The green LED strip was captured lit in every frame.

Photography Challenges

1. Metallic paint that shifts with light. Rose gold, champagne and bronze all swing hue with angle and source color. Neutral sources and a locked camera kept the three finishes distinct and true, so the listing’s color choice is the product’s, not the lighting’s.

2. A green LED strip that clips easily. The illuminated air-quality band blows to white at shell-correct exposure. Metering favored the strip first, then fill brought the cabinet up, keeping the glow visibly green.

3. Curved cabinet, hidden casters. The rounded body hides its caster feet from most angles. The high three-quarter frames were composed to keep the top deck honest while a lower pass preserved the base detail.

Our Approach

Colorway template

One height, one lighting plan, taped marks. The three finishes rotate through an unchanged setup so the range page is a pure finish comparison.

Glow-first metering

The LED band was metered before scene light was added, so the air-quality glow keeps its color instead of clipping.

Deck-forward angles

High three-quarter compositions put the touch controls and display icons in frame, because purifier buyers study the interface before the spec table.

"Appliance colorways are a promise that only the finish changes. Lock the setup, meter the glow first, and let the metallics speak in their own voices." — June, Product Photography Team Lead

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you keep metallic colorways accurate?

Yes. Neutral light sources, a locked camera and on-set checks against the physical units keep rose gold, champagne and bronze true and distinct, so buyers get the finish they chose.

Do you photograph indicator lights switched on?

Yes. Status glows are metered first and the cabinet is filled around them, so LEDs keep their real color instead of clipping to white.

How many frames does an appliance colorway set need?

Five works well here: high three-quarter for the control deck, front and profile for the cabinet, then the same angles reused across colorways for clean comparison.

A finish range that must stay true?

Send the colorways. We will lock the setup and meter the glow, so every finish arrives on the page exactly as it left the line.
