Photography Challenges

1. Cream labels blow out before the bottle reads. The cream and gold label sits several stops above the dark bottle. The label is metered for first and the bottle is brought up with a controlled fill, so the label holds detail and the glass keeps its depth.

2. Dark props must earn their place. Silver cups, corks and grapes can slide into clutter. Each frame carries one hero prop only, and everything else is excluded or falls soft.

3. Five frames, one old-world grade. Wood, leather, blue panel and black stone must read as one world. The light recipe and warm grade are locked across the set so the surfaces change but the mood does not.

Our Approach

Wood and leather block.

Frames 02-03 set the bottle on dark wood and worn leather with the silver cup, grapes and cork, in warm directional light.

Panel and stone block.

Frames 04-05 shift to a dark blue panel with long window shadows and a black stone slab with scattered corks, keeping the same key angle.

Warm closer.

Frame 06 finishes with the tightest composition: bottle, grape cluster and cup in a warm pool of light with everything else fallen dark.

Post-production and delivery.

Retouching held the cream label detail, matched the warm grade across all 5 frames, and delivered 2000x2000px sRGB JPG plus WebP.

"Old-world wine photography is subtraction: one hero prop, one warm light, and the discipline to leave the rest of the table dark." — June, Product Photography Team Lead

Frequently Asked Questions

How is a low-key wine set like this priced?

Styled creative frames start at $35 per image under our Growth package, so a 5-frame set runs from $175 including styling and retouching. All rates are starting prices, and the final quote depends on your requirements.

Can you keep one mood across different surfaces?

Yes. The light recipe and grade are locked first, then the surfaces change. Wood, leather and stone all read as pages of the same old-world book.

How long does a 5-frame wine session take?

This set was delivered in our standard 5-7 business day window: set builds and light tests, one shooting day, then retouching and grading.

Do you add white-background versions for marketplaces?

Yes. Pure white-background frames start from $12 per image under our Essential package, delivered at 2000x2000px sRGB with a full commercial license.
