The product is pumpkin red bean congee, a breakfast staple in the same deli menu line. Golden porridge reads as a flat pool unless the surface carries texture, so the beans are settled on top at the end and the surface gets one soft highlight band. Shot at the AIMI Visual Media studio in Guangzhou, China.

Photography Challenges
1. Congee reads as a flat pool. Porcelain-smooth porridge has no texture of its own. The red beans are settled onto the surface at the last moment, and a soft skim light bands the surface so it reads as a liquid, not paint.
2. Golden on white drifts yellow. Pumpkin gold can shift sour under cool light. The key is held warm-neutral so the gold reads appetizing, and the white bowl stays honest white.
3. Steam is a decision, not a default. A breakfast frame reads warmer with steam, but steam softens the surface texture. This menu line runs clean, so the frame stays steam-free to match its siblings.
Our Approach
Surface last.
The bowl is filled, leveled, then topped with beans and shot immediately while the surface gloss is fresh.
Line consistency.
Same white bowl, same sweep, same light map as the rest of the deli series so the frame drops into the menu grid.
Post-production and delivery.
Retouching held the surface band highlight, matched the gold grade, and delivered 2000x2000px sRGB JPG plus WebP.
