The client was preparing a Scandinavian-influenced solid wood side chair with a curved floating backrest and dowel stretcher base, and needed a compact presentation set for the design review. Three frames were produced on one charcoal set: the hero three-quarter, the true profile that shows the leg rake, and the rear view that carries the joinery story. All frames were produced at the AIMI Visual Media studio in Guangzhou, China.

Design and Visualization Challenges

1. Three frames must cover the whole chair. A compact set leaves no room for redundancy. The angle plan assigns each frame a job: hero for proportion, profile for the leg rake, rear for joinery, so three images do the work of a full turntable.

2. Pale wood on a dark ground flattens fast. Light ash against charcoal can read as a paper cutout. A soft key from one side models the backrest curve and seat dish, so the pale wood keeps its three-dimensional form.

3. Joinery is the credibility frame. Buyers of solid wood chairs flip the chair over mentally. The rear view is composed to show the backrest support, stretchers and seat underside in one read, the frame that answers how the chair is built.

Our Approach

Hero three-quarter first.

Frame 01 establishes proportion: the curved backrest, dished seat and splayed dowel legs in one balanced read.

Profile for the stance.

Frame 02 goes true side, where the raked rear legs flowing into the backrest support explain the chair's stance better than any front view.

Rear for the build story.

Frame 03 moves behind the chair to show the Y-shaped support and stretcher assembly, the joinery evidence the product page needs.

"A side chair is sculpture from the front and engineering from the back. Show both and the price stops needing an explanation." — June, Product Photography Team Lead

Frequently Asked Questions

How is a compact visualization set priced?

Visualization scope is quoted per project, while the photography side of your launch follows our three packages: Essential from $12 per image, Growth from $35 per image and Premium from $80 per SKU. All rates are starting prices, and the final quote depends on your requirements.

Can three frames really cover a chair?

Yes, when each frame has an assigned job: hero for proportion, profile for stance and rear for joinery. The angle plan is agreed with you before production.

Can the production chair be photographed to match later?

Yes. Once the built chair exists, we photograph it with angles matched to this set, so the page upgrades from visualization to photography without a redesign.

Can we add white-background photos for marketplace slots?

Yes. Pure white-background shots for Amazon main image slots start from $12 per image under our Essential package. All final files are delivered at 2000x2000px sRGB, which exceeds Amazon's 1000px minimum requirement for the zoom feature, and include a full commercial license.
