The client sells M-Castle strollers to urban parents and asked AIMI Visual Media in Guangzhou, China to shoot the line outdoors with a model. The strollers come in several fabric stories: a bright yellow canopy, an all-black version, and a blue star print. We shot 6 images across one sunny afternoon in Guangzhou's mall districts: pushing across a pedestrian crossing, pausing at a glass entrance, adjusting the seat, and walking under pergola shadows, all under a full commercial license.

Photography Challenges

1. Midday sun is honest to a fault. Bright plaza light makes colors pop and skin sweat. We shot between late-morning and mid-afternoon, keeping the model's back to the hardest sun so her face stays soft while the stroller canopy takes the light and glows.

2. The model sells the push, not the pose. Stroller buyers picture themselves walking, so the model actually walks: crossings, entrances, shaded corridors. We shot long bursts while she moved, and picked frames where her stride, the wheels, and her gaze all travel the same direction.

3. Three colorways, one afternoon. Yellow, black, and blue star fabrics each need their own moment. Each colorway gets its own location within the route: yellow at the open plaza, black at the glass entrance, blue star under the pergola, so the gallery reads as a range, not a repeat.

4. Backgrounds full of other brands. City malls are wallpapered with logos and signs. We framed tight on the model and stroller and kept storefront signs cropped or blurred, so the only brand the photo sells is the stroller.

Our Approach

City Route Coverage

The shoot runs as one walking route through Guangzhou's mall districts: an open plaza with towers behind for the yellow canopy, a glass-front entrance for the all-black version, and a pergola walkway for the blue star print. The model wears one black-and-white outfit the whole route, so the wardrobe disappears and the strollers carry the color.

Feature Moments

Between walking frames we stopped for use-moments: hands on the seat edge showing access, a look-down smile at the canopy, the folded stance beside cafe umbrellas. These are the frames that answer 'how does it feel to use' without a word of copy.

Retouching

All 6 frames get one bright, sunny grade: canopy colors matched to the physical fabrics, pavement distractions cleaned, background signage blurred further where it competed, and skin tones kept natural in hard light. Files went out at 2000x2000px sRGB in JPEG (quality 90) and WebP, ready for Amazon listings, brand stores, and social ads.

"A stroller photo should make your feet itch. If the buyer can feel the walk, the sun, the errand, the listing has already sold the push." Garbo, Senior Photographer

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a 6-image outdoor model set cost?

This set came to about $270 at $45 per model image, model, styling, and route included. Studio packshots of each colorway can be added at $12 each, and 10 or more items get 10% off.

How long does the shoot take?

These 6 images were delivered in 5 business days. The outdoor route itself is one afternoon; the rest is selection and retouching. We handle casting, wardrobe, and location planning in-house.

Can outdoor model photos go on Amazon?

Yes, in the secondary slots, A+ Content, brand store, and social ads, delivered at 2000x2000px. Main images must be the stroller alone on pure white, which we add at $12 per colorway.

Can you shoot in our city instead of Guangzhou?

Our standard routes use Guangzhou's mall districts because we know the light and the permits. On-location shoots in other cities are quoted by scope, including travel.

How do you keep storefront logos out of the shots?

Tight framing on the model and stroller, signs cropped or blurred, and locations scouted in advance. The photo should sell one brand only: yours.

Can you shoot more colorways on the same route?

Yes. The route and light windows stay on file, so new colorways can be slotted into the same locations for a matching gallery, at the standard $45 model rate.
