Stud Earrings and Pendant Library Photography

The client has a small line of flower-shaped stud earrings in several stone colors plus a teardrop purple CZ pendant on a silver-tone chain. They needed clean styled coverage of each variant. All frames were shot at the AIMI Visual Media studio in Guangzhou, China.

Photography Challenges

1. Color variants must match across frames. Studs shot at different times drift in color. All variants are staged and lit in one continuous setup so a buyer comparing colors sees honest differences, not lighting differences.

2. Small CZ stones read as glass without point light. Faceted cubic zirconia needs small specular points to read as stones. A perforated light field gives each facet a highlight without harsh overall contrast.

3. Earrings slump on flat sets. Stud pairs are propped at a slight angle on hidden supports, so the flower face meets the camera instead of lying flat and losing shape.
