AIMI Visual Media produced a 1 min 45 s skincare TVC for Zeyan (ZEMOITU), with 30 s and 15 s cutdowns, mastered at 4K 3840×2160 and 25fps with a 1080p web version. Garden morning light and macro product photography carry the film. Delivery took 8 business days.

Zeyan needed a product TVC for its full skincare line: seven to eight pieces across pump bottles, serum bottles, tubes and cream jars, all white with silver caps. The brief called for a botanical, gentle, pure tone, aimed at women aged 20 to 35 who read ingredient lists and care about texture. We chose a garden in morning light as the world of the film, kept the model soft in the background, and let the bottles and their textures hold every close-up.

Creative Concept

Skincare advertising runs on atmosphere over information, so the strategy was morning garden light with the product as the lead. Shallow focus keeps the bottles sharp while the model and flower sea stay softly blurred, and a palette of white, silver, light green and pink builds the botanical association at a glance. A group arrangement of the full line replaces single-product hero shots, reading as a complete regimen rather than one item. The model supplies mood from the background layer and never competes for the eye.

Production

Product close-ups were shot on a Sony A7S3 with the FE 90mm F2.8 Macro G OSS at f/2.8 to f/4, so depth of field stays thin but controlled at macro distance. Model shots used the FE 85mm F1.4 GM wide open for blur separation, with the model kept over three meters from the products and framed shoulders-up. Backlit and side-backlit morning sun edges the bottles, while an Aputure 300D II through a softbox fills the shadow side at 5600K with CRI 97 or higher, keeping the white bottles neutral. Recording ran at 25fps; edit in Premiere Pro, grade in DaVinci Resolve, motion work in After Effects.

Production Challenges

1. White bottles blow out fast in a bright garden. We exposed for the bottle highlights and pulled down a third of a stop, added a polarizer to cut reflections, then used a DaVinci Resolve power window to hold the bottle highlights while lifting the background. Whites keep their layers instead of clipping to dead white.

2. Seven to eight bottles must sit right and face right. Acrylic shims under each bottle fine-tuned the heights, and every ZEMOITU label was squared to the main camera. Each bottle was wiped free of fingerprints and dust before rolling, because at macro distance every small flaw is visible on screen.

3. The model must not steal focus from the product. We kept the model more than three meters behind the products and shot her on the 85mm, so the long lens compresses space while the blur pulls the layers apart. Framing stayed shoulders-up, giving the film atmosphere without a competing focal point.

Where the Film Lives

The full horizontal version fronts the Zeyan flagship store detail pages, the brand website, counter screens and beauty expo LED walls. The short cutdowns feed Douyin feed ads, the Xiaohongshu brand account, WeChat Channels promotions and Moments ads. Product group frames were also pulled from the master as detail-page selling-point images and as the cover of the e-commerce main-image video.

A skincare film works through imagined texture: soft light, flowers and shallow focus are all votes for the word gentle. The product stays one step sharper than the model; that is the unwritten rule of beauty work. — Garbo, Director of Photography

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a skincare TVC cost?

TVC work is quoted per project; this film covered script, floral set, model, studio shoot, edit, grade and score, so scope drives the number. Every line is itemized from your brief and shared via our contact page.

How long does a skincare TVC take?

On this project, script and creative confirmation took 3 business days, the floral set and shoot 1 day, and post with grading 4 business days, for 8 business days total. Rush work can compress to 5 business days after schedule confirmation.

What should the client provide?

Provide physical products (three pieces per SKU so we can pick the best), the ingredient selling-point list, brand VI specs and the target customer profile. Remove shipping labels in advance and keep bottles free of scratches and fingerprints; gift boxes are welcome too.

Who writes the script, and how many revisions are included?

Our planning team writes the first draft and two free revision rounds are included. For beauty projects, have marketing confirm tone references and forbidden elements early, especially the compliance boundaries of efficacy claims, to avoid rework after the shoot.

Can you shoot in a garden we specify?

Yes. Beyond the studio floral set we can shoot botanical gardens, greenhouses or courtyards, subject to venue permission and bloom timing. Location work bills travel and venue at cost, and we scout 3 days ahead to fix light and positions.

Can a real person appear using the product?

Yes. On-camera talent is billed separately, and partial framing of shoulders or hands uses partial models at lower cost. A portrait authorization agreement is signed for anyone on camera, so share makeup requirements in advance.

What formats do you deliver, and for which platforms?

Standard delivery is MP4 with H.265 encoding: 16:9 for detail pages, the website and counter screens; 9:16 for Douyin, Xiaohongshu and WeChat Channels; 1:1 for Moments. A ProRes 422 MOV master is available for re-editing.

Who handles music licensing?

We pick from a licensed music library with commercial authorization, already included in the quote. If you want a specific song, you either secure its license or we replace it with a same-style library track. Fonts, stock and effects follow the same rule.

How do out-of-town clients work with you?

Fully online: scripts are co-edited in shared docs, set designs confirmed via renderings, masters delivered by cloud drive. Products ship by insured courier with round-trip freight on us, or you can drop them at the studio. Roughly 30% of our 6,000+ clients work this way.
