Photography Challenges
1. Matte black plastic eats its own edges. The charcoal body disappears against its own shadow lines. Large soft sources wrap the shell so the wedge silhouette separates from the sweep, while a gridded accent keeps the champagne gold trim glowing without clipping.
2. Every port must be legible for spec buyers. Radar detector buyers read the port bank like a spec sheet. The rear and side frames are shot at f/11 with the port row square to camera, so the 12V jack, USB port and power switch all resolve at zoom.
3. Gold trim flares under broad light. The polished buttons and trim sit stops above the matte body. Exposure is set for the metal and the body is lifted with fill cards, keeping button icons readable and the shell texture intact.
Our Approach
Front identity frame first.
Frame 01 stands the unit on its front button face, brand mark and model number square to camera, giving the listing its identity anchor.
Full rotation coverage.
Frames 02-04 walk top, rear and side angles, covering speaker vents, trim lines and the complete port bank in one pass.
Alternate hero for A/B use.
Frame 05 repeats the overhead hero with a slight angle shift, giving the listing team a second take for main image testing.
"A spec product is bought with the eyes first. If the ports and buttons are readable at zoom, half the pre-sale questions never get asked." — June, Product Photography Team Lead

Frequently Asked Questions
How is a white-background electronics rotation priced?
White-background catalog frames like these start from $12 per image under our Essential package, styled in-car scenes sit in Growth from $35 per image, and full A+ Content sets start from $80 per SKU under Premium. All rates are starting prices, and the final quote depends on your requirements.
Can you capture every port and button label sharply?
Yes. Port frames are shot stopped down with the connector row square to camera, and files are checked at 100 percent, so jacks, switches and printed icons all survive marketplace zoom.
Can you also shoot the detector in a dashboard scene?
Yes. In-car context frames on a dashboard set are available under the Growth package, matching the same angles used in the white-background rotation.
Do these files meet marketplace main image rules?
Yes. Frames are delivered at 2000x2000px sRGB on pure white, above Amazon's 1000px zoom minimum, and include a full commercial license.
