BEIZILAN's horse oil hand cream line ships in five design variants, and the brand needed a full visual library that keeps one brand read across all of them: the purple Ziyun Canglan, the blue Summer Starry Sky, the mint Green Wild Mystery, the emerald Green Wild edition and the men's Wild Knight camouflage tube. All 9 frames were shot at the AIMI Visual Media studio in Guangzhou, China, each variant staged in its own color-matched world with shaped window-light shadows, plus texture swatches of the actual cream.

Photography Challenges
1. Five variants must read as one brand. Each tube top carries a different print, and shot carelessly the series looks like five unrelated products. The frames share one recipe: same soft directional key, same shaped gobo shadow language, same matte pastel sets, so the brand rhythm never breaks across the 9 frames.
2. The tube is white, the sets are pastel, and exposure is a narrow path. A matte white tube on a lavender or mint set either goes gray against the color or blows out trying to stay bright. We exposed for the tube's white body first and let the set sit a half stop deeper, so the product stays luminous without clipping.
3. Shaped shadows decorate or destroy, depending on placement. The window-slat and leaf gobo shadows are the visual signature of the series, but a dark band across the brand seal or product name kills the frame. Every gobo was positioned so the shadow bands fall on empty set, never across printed text.
4. The cream swatch has minutes before it slumps. The spread texture swatches in frames 2, 7 and 9 start to relax and lose their combed ridges under warm lights within minutes. The swatch was styled last, shot first in the sequence, and lit with the coolest source on set so the surface reads thick, not oily.
Our Approach
Color-matched variant worlds.
Each variant gets a set tuned to its own tube print: lavender for Ziyun Canglan, powder blue for Summer Starry Sky, sage and mint for the green editions, flat grey for the men's camouflage tube. The matching colors make the variant obvious from a thumbnail, which is how shoppers browse multi-option listings.
Texture proof frames.
Frames 2, 7 and 9 add a spread swatch of the actual cream beside the tube, because hand cream buyers are buying a texture as much as a scent. The swatch is combed into a clean curve with a spatula and shot within minutes, thick and matte, answering "is this greasy" without a word of copy.
Post-production and delivery.
Retouching cleaned the matte tube bodies (white laminated plastic records every scuff), kept each variant's print colors true to the physical tubes, and graded the 9 frames to one consistent brightness family. Delivered as 2000px sRGB JPG plus WebP for marketplace galleries and social.
"Five variants, five color worlds, one brand. The tube never changes, so the set has to: each flavor gets its own pastel and its own shadow pattern." — June, Product Photography Team Lead

Frequently Asked Questions
How is a 9-frame variant series like this priced?
Styled creative frames start at $35 per image under our Growth package, so this 9-frame series runs about $315 including five custom set builds, swatch styling and retouching. White-background versions of each variant can be added at $12 per image under Essential. All rates are starting prices; the final quote depends on your requirements.
How long does a multi-variant session take?
This series was delivered in 6 business days, inside our standard 5-7 business day window: days 1-2 for the five set builds and light tests, one shoot day for all 9 frames, and the rest for retouching.
Can these frames be used as Amazon main images?
No, main images require a pure white background. These 9 frames serve secondary slots, A+ Content, variation swatches and social. We add compliant white-background versions of each variant in the same session at $12 per image, delivered at 2000x2000px sRGB.
We have five variants. How do you keep them looking like one brand?
One recipe across the whole series: same key light direction, same gobo shadow language, same matte pastel set treatment, one brightness grade in post. Only the set color changes per variant, so shoppers recognize the line instantly at thumbnail size.
Can you show the actual cream texture?
Yes. Texture swatches are styled on set with a spatula and shot within minutes before the cream slumps, using a cool light source so the surface reads thick instead of oily. Two of the 9 frames here are dedicated texture proofs.
Do you shoot men's grooming variants too?
Yes. The Wild Knight camouflage tube was staged on a flat grey set with harder shadow geometry to shift the mood masculine, while keeping the same brand rhythm as the rest of the series.
