This family bets everything on one color: a deep cobalt that runs from satin opaque to UV-translucent across three bottle technologies. The shoot was about keeping that blue identical while the materials underneath it changed completely, and about giving the hourglass silhouettes the chrome-and-acrylic hardware treatment their shapes were designed for.

Photography Challenges

1. One cobalt, three materials. The cleanser is satin opaque, the lotion is gloss opaque, the serum is translucent UV glass. The same blue reads darker, lighter or greener on each unless the lighting is tuned per material while the color stays constant.

2. Chrome and acrylic at the neckline. The lotion pump stacks clear acrylic over polished chrome over a satin body: three reflection personalities in two centimeters, each picking up the studio if left uncontrolled.

3. A translucent bottle that shows its plumbing. The serum bottle reveals its dip tube and the reverse-side print through the liquid. That can look technical and honest, or cluttered, depending entirely on angle and fill.

Our Approach

Per-material flag maps

Each bottle got its own flag arrangement inside one locked setup: big soft cards for the satin tube, controlled strips for the gloss hourglass, and a rear panel behind the translucent serum so the blue glows through the liquid.

Neckline separation

On the pump bottle, thin black cards between the acrylic cap and chrome collar draw a line between the materials, so the stack reads as engineered hardware rather than one reflective smear.

Angle for the dip tube

The serum was rotated until the dip tube ran true vertical and the reverse print sat soft behind the liquid: visible enough to prove the bottle is full, quiet enough not to compete with the front label.

"A color-led family is a promise: every material has to keep it. Tune the light to the material and lock the color to the brand, never the other way around." June, Product Photography Team Lead

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you keep one brand color consistent across different materials?

By tuning the lighting to each material while holding the color target constant. We check the cobalt on a calibrated monitor against the physical bottles during the shoot, not afterward.

Can you shoot gift boxes as well as the products inside?

Yes. Set listings need the box: quilting, foil lettering and closure details are what justify the set price. We photograph the box with the same rigor as the bottles.

Do translucent bottles need special lighting?

They need light from behind. A rear panel transmits through the liquid so the color glows and the fill line reads, while front fill keeps the label legible. Front-only light makes tinted glass look empty.

A color-led line where every material has to keep the promise?

Send the family. We will tune each material in one locked setup and deliver a set where the blue never breaks, from tube to glass to gift box.
