The product is a TCM duo: Kangmei astragalus slices and Xinkaihe red ginseng roots. Both products sell on the root texture, so each pack gets its slice proof frame, and the bamboo slips carry the traditional read. All 8 frames were shot at the AIMI Visual Media studio in Guangzhou, China.

Photography Challenges

1. Root texture is the quality signal. Buyers read astragalus by its fibrous slice and ginseng by its amber color. A raking key pulls the slice fibers into relief, and the ginseng gets a warm transmitted accent.

2. Bamboo slips must not crowd the pack. The bamboo slip props add the traditional read, but they sit behind and below the pack so the product stays the hero.

3. Two brands, one shelf. The two packs share the white seamless and the light map so the duo reads as one TCM shelf.

Our Approach

Pack and slice block.

Frames 01-04 pair each pack with its texture proof: the astragalus pack and slice macro, then the ginseng pack and root macro.

Traditional read block.

Frames 05-07 add the bamboo slip pairing, the measured fan and the brewed tonic.

Group closer.

Frame 08 finishes with both products and their ingredient proofs.

Post-production and delivery.

Retouching held the fiber texture and the amber tone, matched the white grade, and delivered 2000x2000px sRGB JPG plus WebP.

"TCM pack photography is texture plus tradition: rake the slice, warm the root, and let the bamboo whisper." — June, Product Photography Team Lead
