The client sells a tall wooden shoe cabinet with five slatted drawers and recessed pulls, offered in blonde and walnut finishes. The brief asked for clean studio coverage of both finishes: front heroes on gradient sweeps plus three-quarter angles that show the cabinet's depth and tapered-leg silhouette. The front frames were photographed and the angled views were finished to match them, all produced at the AIMI Visual Media studio in Guangzhou, China.

Photography Challenges
1. Slatted fronts must keep their rhythm. Five grooved drawer fronts alias into mush if the light is flat. A soft source raking from one side draws a fine shadow into every slat, so the texture that defines the design survives marketplace compression.
2. Two finishes, one product read. Blonde and walnut change the cabinet's mood, but the geometry must read identical. Framing and crop repeat exactly across finishes, so buyers compare wood tone with zero angle drift.
3. Dark finish on a dark ground. The walnut unit against a charcoal sweep loses its edges fast. The three-quarter frames use a lighter gradient zone behind the silhouette, so the dark finish keeps its outline without lifting the mood of the set.
Our Approach
Front heroes per finish.
Frames 01 and 03 present the blonde and walnut cabinets straight-on on matching gradient sweeps, the pair every listing slot starts from.
Angle views matched to the heroes.
Frames 02 and 04 carry the three-quarter read, showing side depth, leg taper and apron curve, graded to sit cleanly beside the photographed fronts.
Grade discipline across the set.
All four frames are finished against one reference, so wood tone, backdrop value and shadow weight hold continuous from blonde front to walnut angle.
"A slatted front is a light-and-shadow product. Get a clean shadow into every groove and the design explains itself at any size." — June, Product Photography Team Lead

Frequently Asked Questions
How is a two-finish cabinet set priced?
Studio frames like these sit in our Growth package from $35 per image, white-background versions start from $12 per image under Essential, and full A+ Content sets start from $80 per SKU under Premium. All rates are starting prices, and the final quote depends on your requirements.
Can both finishes share one framing?
Yes. Camera position and crop are locked across the finish change, so blonde and walnut compare frame for frame with zero angle drift.
Can slatted or grooved fronts stay readable at thumbnail size?
Yes. A raking key draws a fine shadow into every groove, and the grade holds that definition through retouch, so the texture survives marketplace compression.
Can we add white-background versions for marketplace slots?
Yes. Pure white-background shots for Amazon main image slots start from $12 per image under our Essential package. All final files are delivered at 2000x2000px sRGB, which exceeds Amazon's 1000px minimum requirement for the zoom feature, and include a full commercial license.
