The client sells oak-finish storage furniture for bedrooms and entryways: eight-drawer dressers, a tall chest and louvered shoe cabinets in graduated sizes. The brief asked for hero frames per piece, one functional frame that proves the flip-down compartments, and a lineup that sells the range. All eight frames were photographed at the AIMI Visual Media studio in Guangzhou, China.

Photography Challenges
1. Louvered fronts alias at listing size. Forty thin slats per door moire under marketplace compression. The cabinets are lit with a soft key from one side so each louver keeps a clean shadow edge, and angles are chosen to keep the slat rhythm readable at thumbnail size.
2. A storage product must prove it stores. Closed doors leave the capacity claim unverified. Frame 07 opens both flip-down compartments with real shoes placed pair by pair, so the listing shows volume and operation in one image.
3. A range needs one light logic. Dressers, chests and cabinets share one oak finish across three room positions. All frames hold the same key direction and white brick ground, so the family reads as a system, not isolated SKUs.
Our Approach
Dresser heroes by angle.
Frames 01-05 cover the drawer side of the line: the eight-drawer dresser from front and three-quarter, the tall five-drawer chest, and the coastal context frame that places the collection in a lived bedroom.
Shoe cabinet function proof.
Frames 06-07 move to the entryway: the tall louvered cabinet styled closed, then the low cabinet with both compartments open and shoes inside, the frame that answers how it works.
Family lineup closer.
Frame 08 arranges the three cabinet sizes together with props marking scale, the range image the category page and ads can reuse.
"Storage furniture is bought on two questions: will it fit my hallway, and will it hold my stuff. Answer the second with open doors and the first with a family lineup." — June, Product Photography Team Lead
