The client sells modular kitchen storage: a wall track with clip-on stainless racks for pot lids, cutting boards, shelves and an over-sink drain tray. The brief asked for product heroes that prove the clip-on system, plus functional scenes that show the drain tray in real use. All eight frames were photographed at the AIMI Visual Media studio in Guangzhou, China.

Photography Challenges

1. Mirror stainless reflects the whole studio. Polished racks pick up every light and stand in the room. The set is built white with large soft sources, so the metal reflects clean surfaces instead of crew and equipment.

2. A clip system must prove it clips. The selling point is tool-free mounting on the track. Frame 04 isolates the empty rack with its locking clip, and frame 01 adds a hand on the rail, so installation and stability read without a word of copy.

3. Draining is a motion claim. A drain tray photographed dry proves nothing. Frames 07-08 shoot it under a running faucet with water passing through the perforations, so the function is documented in action.

Our Approach

Hardware-first heroes.

Frames 02-06 walk the rack family on the white track set: board racks loaded and empty, lid racks with both glass and all-steel lids, and the folding shelf with its clip close-up.

Fit proofs with real objects.

Each rack is shown holding the actual item it sells against: tall and horizontal bamboo boards, glass-window and domed steel lids, so buyers verify fit against what they own.

Sink scenes for the use case.

Frames 07-08 move to a working sink with running water, suds and food debris, showing the drain tray doing its job while the matching wall basket cross-sells the system.

"Kitchen hardware is bought on two questions: will it hold my lid, and will it rust. Answer both with loaded racks and running water, not adjectives." — June, Product Photography Team Lead

Frequently Asked Questions

How is a storage hardware library priced?

Styled frames like these sit in our Growth package from $35 per image, white-background versions start from $12 per image under Essential, and full A+ Content sets start from $80 per SKU under Premium. All rates are starting prices, and the final quote depends on your requirements.

Can you show racks holding our actual product sizes?

Yes. Racks are photographed loaded with the real items buyers own, from tall bamboo boards to domed steel lids, so fit is verified visually on the listing.

Can you shoot functional water scenes?

Yes. Working sink sets with running water are part of our styled scene work, capturing the product mid-function with controlled splashing and clean drainage reads.

Can we add white-background versions for marketplace slots?

Yes. Pure white-background shots for Amazon main image slots start from $12 per image under our Essential package. All final files are delivered at 2000x2000px sRGB, which exceeds Amazon's 1000px minimum requirement for the zoom feature, and include a full commercial license.
