The client manufactures steel security storage: locking filing cabinets and safes in all-white and two-tone finish lines, sold through cross-border e-commerce. Shipping prototype cabinets for photography was slow and costly, so the range was visualized on white: closed lineups for the hero slots and open units for the capacity story. All frames were produced at the AIMI Visual Media studio in Guangzhou, China.

Design and Visualization Challenges

1. Heavy steel prototypes kill shoot economics. Full-height steel cabinets cost more to ship and refinish than to model. Visualizing the range removes freight and paint-sample cycles, and SKU updates become file edits instead of reshoots.

2. A lineup must prove the size system. Buyers of security storage shop by capacity tier. Frames arrange the cabinets in staggered-height and triangular compositions, so desktop, credenza and full-height units compare at a glance.

3. Locks and interiors carry the price. A closed white box justifies nothing. Open frames stage binders, archive boxes, lockable drawers and keypad versus keyed locks, so the security story reads in the images rather than the spec table.

Our Approach

Entry line in all white first.

Frames 01-03 present the all-white family: the safe and cabinet trio with one unit open, then the staggered closed lineup and the triangular size-tier composition.

Premium two-tone as its own family.

Frame 04 introduces the two-tone line closed, keeping white doors and slate frames visually distinct from the entry range.

Capacity demonstrations to close.

Frames 05-06 open the cabinets: binders, kraft archive boxes, lockable drawers and both lock types, the proof frames for the security and storage claims.

"Security storage is bought on lock, shelf and tier. Line the range up, open the doors, and the catalog answers its own questions." — June, Product Photography Team Lead

Frequently Asked Questions

How is a cabinet range visualization priced?

Visualization scope is quoted per project, while the photography side of your launch follows our three packages: Essential from $12 per image, Growth from $35 per image and Premium from $80 per SKU. All rates are starting prices, and the final quote depends on your requirements.

Why visualize steel cabinets instead of photographing them?

Freight and paint-sample cycles for full-height steel cabinets cost more than the visualization. The range is built once digitally, and SKU updates become file edits instead of reshoots.

Do these frames meet marketplace white-background rules?

Yes. The set is produced on a pure white ground sized for main image slots, with open-unit frames for the secondary slots where capacity and locks are shown.

Can the line be photographed later to match?

Yes. Once production cabinets are available, we photograph them with compositions matched to the visualization lineups, so the page upgrades without a redesign.
