The client sells M-Castle strollers to style-conscious urban parents and asked AIMI Visual Media in Guangzhou, China to shoot a lifestyle series with a model. Two strollers star: a red-canopy version and an all-black version. We shot 6 images across Guangzhou's retail districts: a bright mall atrium, an escalator ride, a wooden deck against the skyline, and a stone plaza, all under a full commercial license.

Photography Challenges
1. Two strollers, one day. The red and black versions each need their own locations so the gallery reads as a range. Red owns the mall and plaza frames, black owns the deck frames, and the model's wardrobe stays neutral so the strollers carry the color.
2. Mall light is borrowed light. Atriums mix skylight with store spill. We shot with fast lenses wide open, exposed for the model's face, and let the storefronts blur into bokeh, so the stroller stays sharp inside a soft, expensive-looking background.
3. The escalator frame is choreography. Riding up backwards with a stroller, a model in heels, and a camera takes rehearsal. We rode it three times: once to block positions, once for the framing, once for the keeper where her hand, the handle, and the escalator lines all lean the same way.
4. Smiles with direction. Lifestyle frames die when the model stares blankly at the lens. Every frame gives her a task: presenting the stroller, riding, walking, shielding her eyes from the sun. The smiles in the final frames are real because she is doing something.
Our Approach
Mall and Plaza Frames
The red-canopy stroller works the bright interiors: presented in the atrium with polished floors reflecting it, ridden up the escalator, and standing on the stone plaza with the model smiling beside it. These are the 'weekend with baby' frames, aspirational but recognizable.
City Deck Frames
The all-black stroller moves to the wooden deck with the skyline behind: walking frames, a pause with a hand shielding the sun, a lean on the handle. The black frame and red wheel accents read sharp against the brown planks and gray towers.
Retouching
All 6 frames get one bright, polished grade: stroller fabrics matched to the physical units, backgrounds gently blurred, skin tones natural, and mall signage kept out of focus. Files went out at 2000x2000px sRGB in JPEG (quality 90) and WebP, ready for brand stores, social ads, and A+ Content.
"Lifestyle photography is task photography. Give the model something real to do with the product, and the smile takes care of itself." — Garbo, Senior Photographer

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a 6-image lifestyle set like this cost?
This set came to about $270 at $45 per model image, model, styling, and locations included. Studio packshots of each stroller can be added at $12 each, and 10 or more items get 10% off.
How long does the shoot take?
These 6 images were delivered in 5 business days. The location day runs one long afternoon across 4 nearby spots; the rest is selection and retouching.
Can lifestyle photos go on Amazon?
Yes, in the secondary slots, A+ Content, brand store, and social ads, delivered at 2000x2000px. Main images must be the stroller alone on pure white, which we add at $12 per version.
Do you shoot inside real malls?
Yes. We use Guangzhou retail districts we know well, shoot with available light, and keep the footprint small so no permits slow the day down.
Can the same model cover two product colorways?
Yes, that is exactly what this set does. We plan locations per colorway and keep her wardrobe neutral, so both strollers get distinct scenes in one model day.
Can you shoot more M-Castle models later?
Yes. The route and locations stay on file, so new models slot into the same spots for a consistent gallery, at the standard $45 model rate.
