The client sells celebration stationery and asked AIMI Visual Media in Guangzhou, China to shoot 2 lines for online listings: a mint table-stationery series (tent cards, welcome sign, sign-in board) and a rustic sunflower invitation with belly band and twine. We shot 5 images in our Guangzhou studio on a bright wooden table set: cards standing with flowers and shelves behind, the 3-piece set grouped, and the invitation both standing and opened flat, all under a full commercial license.

Photography Challenges

1. A standing card is the product. Tent cards and welcome signs live upright, so they photograph upright: we shoot them standing on the table at eye level, the way a guest would meet them, instead of flattened into a diagram.

2. Sets must read as sets. The table number, welcome board, and sign-in tent share one design language. We group them in one frame, matching angles and spacing, so buyers see a coordinated suite, not 3 separate purchases.

3. Small text must survive thumbnails. These cards carry dates and table numbers in small print. We light flat and even across the card face, so the text stays readable when the image shrinks to a phone screen.

4. Two lines, one session. Mint party cards and rustic sunflower invitations share the same table and light. We changed only the props: clean white shelving for mint, twine and wood ornaments for sunflower, so the session runs fast and consistent.

Our Approach

Standing Frames

The main frames stand each piece upright on the wooden table: the mint tent card, the welcome sign, the sunflower invitation with its twine bow. Flowers and shelving sit soft behind, and the card stays the sharpest thing in the frame.

Sets and Flat Lays

The group frame gathers the 3-piece mint set in one composition, and the flat lay opens the sunflower invitation to show both panels with a wooden ornament beside. Buyers see the range and the inside story.

Retouching

All 5 frames keep the paper honest: mint fresh, sunflower yellows warm, small print crisp, and the wood grain natural. Files went out at 2000x2000px sRGB in JPEG (quality 90) and WebP, ready for Amazon listings and A+ Content.

"Table stationery is photographed the way it is met: standing up, at eye level, in good light. The guest's view is the product view." June, Product Photography Team Lead

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a 5-image set like this cost?

This set came to about $175 at $35 per styled image, the tabletop set and props included. Plain white-background shots for main listing slots start at $12 each, and 10 or more items get 10% off.

How long does the shoot take?

These 5 images were delivered in 5 business days. Two lines on one table set is efficient: the light stays, only the props change between the mint and the sunflower series.

Can styled scenes go on Amazon?

Yes, in the secondary slots, A+ Content, and your brand store, delivered at 2000x2000px. Main images must be the card alone on pure white, which we add at $12 per design.

Why photograph cards standing up?

Because that is how they are used and met: tent cards and welcome signs live upright on tables. Shooting them at eye level shows the product as the guest will see it.

Can you keep small printed text readable?

Yes. We light flat and even across the card face and check legibility at thumbnail size, so dates, numbers, and table text survive the shrink to a phone screen.

Can you add more designs later?

Yes. The tabletop set stays in the studio, so new card designs and color lines slot into the same look, at the standard $12 or $35 per-image rates.
