The client sells a men's personal care liquid under the Exclusive Angel brand and asked AIMI Visual Media in Guangzhou, China to shoot it for online listings: the 30ml pump bottle and its retail box. We shot 6 images in our Guangzhou studio across 2 setups: clean packshots on white, and dark rustic scenes where the bottle leans into gnarled wood and bark with water droplets on the cap, all under a full commercial license.

Photography Challenges

1. A sensitive product needs a calm page. Personal care sells on discretion and trust. We keep the packshots clinical-clean and let the label speak, because loud styling on a product like this reads as the opposite of trustworthy.

2. The box carries the information. Buyers of care products read before they buy. The box gets its own frame, front panel straight and text sharp, so the product page can carry the facts without apology.

3. Dark wood says masculine without saying a word. The rustic scenes put the bottle against bark and gnarled roots with droplets on the cap: raw, outdoorsy, male-coded. The set does the positioning the copy cannot.

4. Droplets are the freshness cue. A dry black bottle on dark wood disappears. A misted cap catches the key light and reads as fresh from the shelf: one spray bottle of water, a completely different photo.

Our Approach

White Packshots

The packshots cover the listing's proof set: box alone with the panel readable, bottle alone with the pump profile clear, and bottle-in-front-of-box so shoppers connect product to packaging in one glance.

Dark Rustic Scenes

The scene frames nestle the bottle into bark and driftwood: box standing against the wood, bottle lying across it, bottle tucked into the roots with green sprigs. Low-key light rakes the grain and glints off the wet cap.

Retouching

All 6 frames keep the product honest: label text crisp, blacks deep, droplets real, and the cyan brand panels true to print. Files went out at 2000x2000px sRGB in JPEG (quality 90) and WebP, ready for Amazon main-image slots.

"Care products are bought quietly. Keep the packshots clinical, let the label talk, and let the dark wood carry the positioning." June, Product Photography Team Lead

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a 6-image set like this cost?

This set came to about $141: 3 white packshots at $12 each plus 3 styled scenes at $35 each, sets and props included. 10 or more items get 10% off the whole order.

How long does the shoot take?

These 6 images were delivered in 5 business days. Packshots and rustic scenes share one session: the white sweep and the wood set stand side by side.

Are the packshots ready for Amazon main images?

Yes. The bottle and box stand alone on pure white at 2000x2000px, above the 1000px zoom minimum, with the label text kept sharp for buyers who read first.

Why give the box its own frame?

Because care-product buyers read before they buy. A straight, sharp front panel lets the product page carry the facts without apology.

Why photograph the bottle wet?

Because a dry black bottle on dark wood disappears. Water droplets catch the key light and read as fresh from the shelf: one spray bottle of water changes the whole photo.

Can you shoot sensitive products discreetly?

Yes. We keep the styling calm, the label legible, and the retouching honest, and we never invent claims. The packaging states what it states; the photos simply make it readable.
