Eleser, a kids oral care brand, asked AIMI Visual Media in Guangzhou, China for the imagery that sells 'plant-based' without saying it: the strawberry toothgel growing out of a moss forest. We shot 5 images in our Guangzhou studio: the squeeze-action frame with a red gel dollop landing on the kids toothbrush, tubes standing in live moss with strawberries and daisies, and the lollipop-design toothbrush beside its blister pack, all under a full commercial license.

Photography Challenges

1. Plant-based must be shown, not claimed. Every tube in the category says 'natural'. We plant the tube in real moss with a sliced strawberry and a daisy, so the claim becomes the set: the product grows out of greenery, and the ingredient story needs no caption.

2. The squeeze frame is the flavor proof. The translucent red gel is the strawberry claim made physical. We catch the dollop mid-squeeze above the bristles with a second one already landed: gloss and color do the selling, at 1/2000s so the gel edge stays crisp.

3. Moss sets die under hot lights. Live moss browns in minutes under tungsten. We use cool LED panels and pre-chill the set, so the greens stay saturated through the session: the forest still looks alive at frame 40.

4. Kids' packaging must stay the brightest thing. The lion mascot and orange accents are how children pick the tube. We light the label flat and shadow-free, so the cartoon reads at thumbnail size: in this category the character outsells the ingredient list.

Our Approach

The Action Frame

Fingertips squeeze the tube, one red dollop on the bristles, one mid-fall: the product doing its one job, frozen at the decisive moment.

The Forest Frames

Single tube and the two-variant pair standing in moss with strawberry, daisy, and palm frond, dark tropical background behind: plant-based as a place, not an adjective.

The Toothbrush Frame

The lollipop-design brush beside its blister pack on the warm pastel set: packaged and loose in one frame, so retail and product both show.

Retouching

All 5 frames keep the set honest: moss saturated, gel translucent, label text razor-sharp, and whites at 245-252. Files went out at 2000x2000px sRGB in JPEG (quality 90) and WebP, ready for Amazon listings and A+ Content.

"Kids' oral care sells on 2 frames: the gel mid-squeeze for flavor, and the tube in the forest for plant-based." June, Product Photography Team Lead

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a 5-image set like this cost?

This set came to about $175 at $35 per styled image, the moss set and props included. Plain white-background shots for main listing slots start at $12 each, and 10 or more items get 10% off.

How long does the shoot take?

These 5 images were delivered in 5 business days. The moss set builds fresh per session; action and forest frames share one shoot day.

Can nature-scene photos go on Amazon?

Yes, in the secondary slots, A+ Content, and your brand store, delivered at 2000x2000px. Main images must be the tube alone on pure white, which we add at $12 per variant.

How do you shoot live moss without it dying?

With cool LED panels and a pre-chilled set. Tungsten browns moss in minutes; LEDs keep the greens saturated through the whole session.

Why photograph the squeeze mid-action?

Because the translucent red gel is the strawberry claim made physical. The dollop frozen above the bristles sells flavor better than any flavor copy.

Can you add more oral care SKUs later?

Yes. The moss set rebuilds on template and the lighting recipe stays on file, so new flavors match this campaign, at the standard $12 or $35 per-image rates.
