The client is a watch seller with a mixed catalog: formal dress pieces, a dive-style model and several automatic chronographs in steel, black and two-tone finishes. The brief was one library covering every SKU with consistent quality rather than a single-model shoot. All frames were shot at the AIMI Visual Media studio in Guangzhou, China.

Photography Challenges
1. Every SKU must look like one brand family. Mixed models from different lines easily photograph like different shops. One camera height, one key direction and one grading master are applied across the whole library, so the catalog reads as a single seller with standards.
2. Black watches eat detail. Black-coated cases lose bezel and dial texture under soft light. A harder raking source restores edge definition while flagged fill keeps the dial markings readable.
3. Special effects must serve the product. The brief allowed a few dramatic frames. Effect shots are built around the watch silhouette only, with the dial kept fully legible, so drama never costs product information.
Our Approach
Per-SKU hero coverage.
The opening frames give each model a clean hero on a textured prop set, crown at 10:10 and strap shaped to the house silhouette.
Dial and macro proofs.
Middle frames isolate dials, crowns, pushers and strap textures with the 100mm macro, building the detail layer of the library.
Effect compositions.
Closing frames stage the two lead models in controlled special-effect setups for campaign and banner use.
"A catalog library is a system, not a pile of shoots. One recipe, every model, no exceptions." — June, Product Photography Team Lead

Frequently Asked Questions
How is a multi-SKU watch library priced?
Styled creative frames start at $35 per image under our Growth package, and white-background catalog frames start from $12 per image under Essential, so mixed libraries can be split across tiers. All rates are starting prices, and the final quote depends on your requirements.
How long does a multi-model session take?
This library was delivered inside our standard 5-7 business day window: SKU prep and recipe tests first, then per-model coverage, then retouching to one master.
Can you keep every model visually consistent?
Yes. One documented recipe covers camera height, light direction and grading, so new SKUs added later match the existing library.
Can you shoot water-resistant models with water effects?
Yes. Effect frames such as splash or condensation setups are staged in controlled rigs, with the dial kept readable as the first priority.
