The client lists men's dress watches on marketplaces that demand clean white-background coverage: open-heart automatic models and simpler quartz pieces in steel and rose-gold finishes. The brief was strict packshot consistency across every SKU. All frames were shot at the AIMI Visual Media studio in Guangzhou, China.

Photography Challenges

1. White catalog does not mean flat light. Watches shot under a softbox ceiling go dead. The sweep is lit evenly but the watch itself gets a shaped key with a defined edge, so case bevels and dial depth survive the white background.

2. Open hearts show dust and smudge. The open-heart window reveals the escapement and every fingerprint inside the crystal. Cases are cleaned and handled with gloves between frames, and the window zone is checked at 100 percent.
