The client sells fashion jewelry across several small series: pendant necklaces, earrings, rings and bracelets mixing polished metal tones with pearl and purple cabochon accents. The brief called for bright on-model catalog coverage that shows each piece worn. All frames were shot at the AIMI Visual Media studio in Guangzhou, China.

Photography Challenges

1. Many small pieces, one coherent session. A multi-series model session fragments without a plan. Wardrobe, backdrop and lighting stay fixed while pieces rotate, so the catalog reads as one continuous brand story.

2. Cabochon accents need depth, not dots. The purple cabochon reads as a flat dot under frontal light. A soft side source gives the dome a gradient, so the stone reads as a gem rather than a bead.

3. Hand frames must stay natural. Ring and bracelet shots die on stiff hands. The model's hand is given a task per frame, resting or holding, so the jewelry sits in believable posture.

Our Approach

Neckline and ear coverage.

Opening frames cover necklaces and earrings in clean neckline crops on the white backdrop.

Hand and wrist frames.

Middle frames move to rings and bracelets with natural hand postures and a styling prop for context.

Accent detail proofs.

Closing frames tighten to the cabochon and pearl accents at macro-adjacent distance.

"A model session for many small pieces is logistics before aesthetics: fixed world, rotating product, believable posture." — Garbo, Director of Photography

Frequently Asked Questions

How is a multi-series on-model session priced?

On-model frames start at $35 per image under our Growth package, with styling and retouching included and model fees quoted separately. All rates are starting prices, and the final quote depends on your requirements.

How long does the session take?

This session was delivered inside our standard 5-7 business day window: styling plan and fitting first, then coverage, then retouching to one master.

Can you keep many series consistent in one session?

Yes. One fixed world with rotating product keeps the session visually continuous, and files ship at 2000x2000px sRGB.

Can you add matching product-only frames?

Yes. Product-only coverage grades to the same master, so on-model and still frames match on the page.
