AIMI Visual Media produced a 33-second brand video and a 15-second vertical cut for Mirae Medical Cosmetic, a Guangzhou medical aesthetics clinic. Shot in 4K at 25fps with high-key soft light, the pair shipped in 9 business days for the clinic website, in-store screens, and vertical social feeds.

Mirae needed a video for online promotion and in-store display. Medical aesthetics advertising carries strict compliance rules in every market: the film had to present the environment and the team’s professionalism without absolute claims or promised results. We set the visual register at high-key soft light, which reads as safe, clean, and trustworthy to the clinic’s 25-45 female audience.

Creative Concept

A medical aesthetics purchase is a long, anxious decision, so the video’s job was to build trust rather than excitement. We set the direction as professional space plus gentle narrative: bright high-key light on the clinic rooms, an unhurried walk through the service flow, and real scenes instead of effects. The palette stayed in white, cream, and pale pink, the visual language the industry associates with cleanliness and calm.

Production

We shot on a Sony FX6 with the FE 24-70mm F2.8 GM at 4K 25fps. The key was an Aputure 300D II through a large softbox for the high-key look, because hard shadows would have made a medical space feel cold. A Ronin RS3 gimbal carried the walk-through moves, and a Rode VideoMic Pro+ on a boom pole captured room tone while the voiceover was tracked separately, so the narration stays clean under the music.

Production Challenges

1. Compliance leaves no room for loose copy. Words like “best” or any promised result are off-limits in medical advertising. We screened the script line by line before the shoot and replaced effect claims with verifiable language: professional team, standard procedures, comfortable experience. The client’s legal contact reviewed the final cut before delivery.

2. High-key light clips detail fast. Pushing a scene bright and airy means the highlights sit one stop from clipping. We ran the key at 60% power with an ND filter on the lens, then pulled highlights down and lifted shadows in DaVinci Resolve to put the separation back.

3. A working clinic gives you no room to rig. The store could not take stands and ballasts in the corridors. We swapped the heavy fixtures for lightweight LED panels with magnetic softboxes, so one lamp covered 8-12 square meters and moved room to room in minutes.

Where the Film Lives

The 33-second master runs on the clinic website hero, the waiting-area TV, and expo LED loops. The 15-second vertical cut went to Douyin feed ads, the clinic’s Xiaohongshu (RED) brand account, and WeChat Channels. We also pulled key frames for the clinic’s Meituan and Dianping store galleries, so one shoot covered paid, owned, and storefront placements.

High-key light is a promise, not a style. If the first room glows and the second one falls flat, the clinic feels smaller on screen than in person, so we metered every space to the same level before the first take. — June, Product Photography Team Lead

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a clinic promotional video take?

This project ran 9 business days: 3 for scripting and approval, 1 shoot day on location, and 5 for edit and grade. Rush schedules can compress to 5 business days when the calendar allows.

How much does a product promotional video cost?

Product videos at AIMI start from $200 per finished video. A multi-deliverable brand piece like this one, with a 33s master, a 15s vertical cut, and licensed music, is quoted by brief. Final quote depends on your specific requirements.

What should the client prepare before the shoot?

Venue access for one scout day plus one shoot day, brand guidelines, and a list of approved marketing claims. For regulated categories like medical aesthetics, we script only from your approved-claims list.

Can you film at our actual clinic or store?

Yes, and real premises outperform sets for trust content. We scout one day ahead to map power, rig positions, and foot-traffic control. Treatment rooms or privacy-sensitive areas need your written authorization before we frame them.

What formats and platforms do you deliver for?

Standard delivery is MP4 in H.265: 16:9 for website and in-store screens, 9:16 for Douyin, Xiaohongshu, and WeChat Channels, 1:1 on request. A ProRes 422 master MOV comes with every project for future re-edits.

Who handles music licensing?

We pick from a licensed library with commercial rights included in the quote. If you want a specific commercial track, you secure the license or we match the style from the library.

How many revision rounds are included?

Two rounds are included, one at script stage and one at rough-cut stage. Confirming the script thoroughly before the shoot is what keeps projects on schedule.

Can production be rushed for an opening or event?

Yes. A standard 9-business-day cycle compresses to 5 business days with early script sign-off and a locked location. Share your date through the contact page and we confirm the schedule before booking.
