AIMI Visual Media produced a 73-second product video for CONPROFE ultrasonic welding equipment, filmed in studio at 1080p, 25fps, on a Sony A7M4. The piece packages three selling points with on-screen infographics and quantified captions, and was delivered in 9 business days for the website, trade shows and distributor pitches.

CONPROFE builds ultrasonic welding systems used in mask and nonwoven production lines, and the brief was an investor-promotion and exhibition piece around three claims: solvent-free clean operation, amplitude steplessly adjustable from 0 to 100 percent, and fully automated welding that raises efficiency by 40 percent. B2B buyers decide rationally, so we chose an infographic-led direction where green, blue and grey label colors pin each selling point to the machine with a quantified caption.

Creative Concept
Industrial equipment purchasing is a rational B2B decision, so the strategy was selling-point visualization plus parameter evidence. Instead of letting viewers guess why the machine is good, each of the three claims gets its own label color: green for eco, blue for smart control, grey for efficiency, each with one quantified line such as a 40 percent efficiency gain. The refined product floats on a gradient background in a light-blue tech tone, which reads as clean and professional and leaves the visual focus entirely on the machine itself.
Production
We shot the main chassis, transducer and welding-head assemblies on a still-life table from multiple angles, recording 1080p at 25fps on a Sony A7M4 with an FE 24-70mm F2.8 GM lens. Two Aputure 300D II heads in softboxes sat at 45 degrees left and right, holding the light ratio on the metal chassis within 1:2 at CRI 97 or better, while a separate low-level fill kept the LCD readable. A polarizer cut screen glare. In post, After Effects built the label boxes, guide lines and gradient tech backgrounds, Premiere Pro handled the edit, and DaVinci Resolve finished the grade.
Production Challenges
1. Industrial equipment looks cold, and buyers cannot see the selling points on their own. We broke the claims down as infographics: each selling point got its own label color and a one-line quantified note, and the annotation boxes were tied to the matching part of the machine with guide lines, such as linking amplitude control to the control panel. A non-engineer can grasp the core value in 30 seconds.
2. The chassis LCD produced moire and flicker on camera. We locked the shutter at 1/50 to match the screen refresh rate, fitted a polarizer on the lens to kill reflections, and replaced the screen content in post with a high-resolution UI graphic, so every frame of the display stays clean and readable.
3. The metal chassis mirrored the whole shooting environment. We enclosed the still-life table with white tracing paper to build a soft-light tent, so reflections resolve into one continuous, even highlight band instead of room clutter. The few residual stray marks left after that were cleaned up during retouching.

Where the Film Lives
The full 16:9 version runs on the brand website’s technical product page, loops on LED screens at industry exhibitions, and serves as the investor-promotion and iPad sales-demo video. A 30-second highlight cut covers Douyin enterprise posts, WeChat Channels, Bilibili’s industry-tech section and LinkedIn overseas B2B promotion. Retouched machine frames and selling-point graphic frames were also pulled as catalog illustrations and exhibition poster artwork.
An industrial video is translation work: turn engineer language into buyer language. Nobody purchases amplitude adjustability, they purchase 40 percent more output. Every frame of a B2B film should answer one question: what does this do for me. — June, Product Photography Team Lead
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does an industrial equipment promo take?
On this project, script communication and selling-point confirmation took 3 business days, studio equipment filming took 1 day, and graphics packaging plus grading took 5 business days, for 9 business days total. Rush scheduling is possible; confirm timing and fees with our team.
How much does an industrial product video cost?
Product videos at AIMI start from $200 per finished video. A multi-deliverable scope like this project, with a studio shoot, infographic packaging, grading, a master file and optional short cuts, is quoted by brief, so share your equipment type, deliverables and deadline for an exact figure.
What if we cannot explain our equipment's selling points professionally?
Send the manual and technical parameters and our planners handle the extraction and translation into buyer language, such as turning a spec into a 40 percent efficiency gain. We verify the draft with your technical lead before filming, so nothing is exaggerated or inaccurate.
Can you film the machine running at our factory?
Yes. Powered-on running demos and production-line filming can be arranged, with the factory providing safe access and a working window. We scout power and machine positions beforehand, then combine factory footage with studio product shots and graphics for the finished piece.
What equipment do you use for industrial product filming?
This project used a Sony A7M4 with an FE 24-70mm F2.8 GM lens, two Aputure 300D II softbox lights at a 1:2 ratio, and a polarizer for the LCD. We match the kit to the product’s surfaces and screens rather than forcing a fixed package.
Can the video be adapted for different platforms?
The 73-second 16:9 master suits websites, exhibition screens and sales demos. A 30-second highlight cut fits Douyin, WeChat Channels, Bilibili and LinkedIn. We deliver MP4 in H.264 and H.265 plus a ProRes 422 master, so re-cutting for other placements is straightforward.
How do you make technical claims without overstating them?
Every quantified line in the graphics comes from the client’s own parameters, and the draft captions are checked with the client’s technical lead before we film. The video presents evidence, not adjectives, which is what a rational B2B buyer actually trusts.
Do you handle screen moire on machine displays?
Yes. We lock the shutter to 1/50 to match the display refresh, add a polarizer to remove reflections, and replace the on-screen content with a high-resolution UI graphic in post. The result stays legible frame by frame instead of flickering.
